I bought this Torx ("star") wrench set to try after first going with something less expensive that Amazon recommended. These are precisely machined and seem to be of very high quality. After checking all the wrenches in this set, I find none to be different in quality, fit, and finish -- all are well made, smooth, and fit well. They are chamfered to ease insertion and extraction from the screw head. Nonetheless, all that I have tried fit very securely with no noticeable "play" in the screw head. They seat firmly and efficiently transfer your motion to the screw in question. Other less expensive sets are not so precisely machined and may allow "play," which makes them harder to use and more likely to damage the screw or the part being attached. (Cheaper sets allow more "play" between wrench and screw, making them more likely to slip out while you are applying force.) At less than $25, this set is still a great bargain over what I find in my local hardware and home supply stores -- and worth more than twice the cost of some of the less expensive options available here on Amazon.

I went through 3 other brands before I was able to find a quality tool end that would remove a screw on a clock-spring on a Kia Rio. Loosened and tightened back with ease.. Nice hard steel.

this came quickly, and had all the appropriate surfaces, has been used to remove some frozen Torx bolts and has not broken. Unlike many Torx wrenches, the diameter of the Torx flanges are flush with the diameter of the shaft, which is helpful when getting to some bolts (others lose some diameter when the wrench head is machined, so the shaft is left with a larger diameter than the end). I was not disappointed with this purchase.

It is very easy to select the right size for a job. The configuration of the different-sized star wrenches makes it easy to hang from a small metal bar attached to my tool-shed clipboard. The wrenches are long enough to provide leverage to turn easily. These are perfect.

Solid material. Bought this for extra use. Handy.
