Great for getting the Mold smell out of your ice
I bought this product from a recommendation for mold smell and this product is the first one to clean my tabletop ice machine and get rid of the smell. The quality of this product is spot on and it has NO smell of leave any residue. My ice is so good now and the mold smell has gone. I am gonna use this product from now on because of the effectiveness that it provides. It is very cost effective also. The bottle will last for 3 cleanings of the machine and is well worth it!

Good for removing mineral deposits.
I use this routinely to clean an undercounter ice maker. I follow the directions on the bottle and it works as expected. This cleaner does a good job at removing the mineral buid up on the evaporator plate. It is cheaper here than at my local stores. It keeps my ice maker running good and making clean ice.

Great Cleaning Power, But Watch The Dosage Instructions!
The first thing to know about this cleaner is that it is perfectly suitable for countertop ice makers. However, keep in mind that the directions printed on the back of the bottle are written for large, built-in units (calling for the entire 16 oz bottle plus 32 oz of water). For my countertop machine, I scaled down the mix to 2 tablespoons of Affresh cleaner for every 2 cups of water in the reservoir. I ran the clean cycle using that ratio, and it worked exceptionally well. Knowing trusted brands like Whirlpool and KitchenAid recommend it gives me peace of mind that it's effectively clearing hidden limescale and mineral buildup. Just keep in mind that the formula contains Sodium Bisulfate and Citric Acid, so wearing gloves during handling is a smart safety move. You will need to run 2 to 3 fresh-water rinse cycles afterward to ensure the solution is completely flushed out. While that process takes a little extra time, it guarantees your ice tastes completely fresh. We use our ice maker daily, so I clean it monthly. Since a countertop unit only requires 1 oz per cleaning, this bottle will easily last me 16 cleanings—making it an incredible value. While clearer countertop directions on the label would be nice, the cleaner itself works great. Highly recommended!
