Fantastic product been using same brand for several years now

I suffer from cystitis approximately 2-5 times a year, always after sex despite following all the prevention advice. So many times I’ve experienced the horrible uncomfortable feeling and burning pain and wished to just feel normal again. So many times I've tried to get rid of the cystitis by drinking copious amounts of water and cranberry juice, as well as using the sachets, but this all has barely any impact so I found myself regularly going to the doctors for antibiotics and patronising advice about hygiene. Antibiotics do work for cystitis but I don’t like to take them too often and they do not solve the problem long-term, if anything, I feel they make it worse and more likely to reoccur. I got cystitis yet again a few weeks ago but couldn’t get to the doctors so I desperately searched online for remedies. I came across d-mannose and immediately bought these capsules. They arrived the next day (never been more grateful for Prime delivery!) and I took 3 capsules 3 times a day as directed. My symptoms eased by day 2 and by day 5 the cystitis had completely gone, as if I’d taken antibiotics! Once it was gone, I reduced the dose to 1 capsule 3 times a day for 2 days then down to 1 capsule once a day for a further 3 days. Of course I combined this with drinking 2-3 litres of water a day but I do this anyway. I’m absolutely amazed. It might sound dramatic but this is life changing for me as I always dread the next bout of cystitis but now I’m prepared. It’s been just over a week since the cystitis cleared and I haven’t taken any capsules since but it hasn’t returned. I still have around half the box left so these work out cheaper than a prescription for antibiotics plus they’re better for you. I’m so happy to have finally found a solution. Update May 2020: I originally wrote this review in January 2019 after suffering from regular bouts of cystitis. These capsules cleared it as well as antibiotics did. I assumed I was destined to continue to suffer from infections but was just grateful to have found such a wonderful and effective treatment. A couple of months later, I felt the early signs of cystitis as normal and started taking these capsules immediately. Thanks to these, it never developed into a full blown bout of cystitis. I've come back to update my review because, since this last very minor bout of cystitis in March 2019, I've not had any symptoms at all which means it's been 14 months since having any symptoms and 16 months since a proper bout of it! I had previously suffered from cystitis at least every couple of months for many years and thought I always would so can't believe I'm writing this. The only change I made was treating it with d-mannose rather than antibiotics. I will be forever grateful.

D-Mannose categorically works to cure an e-coli based urinary tract infection. I usually use Waterfall D-Mannose tablets which normally clear symptoms within two hours and clear infection within two days altogether, but these are cheaper so I thought I'd try them. The difference with these ones is that they suggest you take such a small dose. With other brands you take 2000-3000mg every 2-3 hours during an infection , with these you are suggested to take only 3 x 500mg tablets 1-3 times a day. For me, that isn't enough. Since using D mannose I've gone from taking antibiotics 6-8 times a year for uti, to not having taken them once, but I just don't think the recommended dose on these is enough if you actually have a full blown, infection. The other tablets I have tell you that you can take up to 3000mg every three hours, but these ones mention nothing about increasing the dose, so I wasn't comfortable to do so in case another ingredient made that unsafe. They also say they are not for under 18s whereas other brands are safe for babies! So all in all I'm going to stick with the other brand despite the higher price.

Well what can I say. I have water infections/cystitis often and I always go the doctors to get antibiotics which do the trick but I didn't want to keep taking antibiotics. I googled lots of things and someone recommended these so thought it was worth a bash. I bought them a while back and didn't need to use them till last week. I started to get the normal pain with a UTI and as it was Sunday and the Monday was bank holiday this was really my only option anyway unless I went to a walk in centre. I took my first 3 tablets and within an hour my pain had subsided, it didn't clear altogether, there was still a bit of pain but it had reduced dramatically so I could at least deal with it. Prior to going to bed I took another 3 and I managed to sleep all night. On the Monday the pain was still there slightly so I took another 3 but that is all I had to take before I was nearly back to normal. It just seemed to gradually get better even though I had stopped taking the tablets. I am still dubious if I am honest, keep expecting it to pop back but 3 days on I am still ok so I am hoping this is the miracle cure I had only dreamt about. Now I know they work next time I will take them earlier which will hopefully nip it in the bud even quicker. I honestly cannot believe my luck with these, I am just one of those people who never have any luck and I just thought these would be something else I had wasted money on but if this UTI stays away this time then this is an absolute game changer for me. I definitely recommend these tablets to anyone and hope they work for you like they have for me.
