Van Holten's Pickle-In-A-Pouch Jumbo Dill Pickles - 12ct by Van Holten's

I came back from the US recently and missed these. I slice them up and have them with some fries from Five Guys as a treat, they're perfect together! Worth every penny.

Arrived early and no problems. Exactly as described.

These pickles were absolutely foul. There was nothing of the fresh delicate dill flavour about them, nor was dill listed as an ingredient. And as for the saltiness!! There was also some weirdly 'dirty' heavy flavour detectable through the salt, but after trying one and several weeks later giving another a second chance, I had to throw the other ten in the bin. So disappointed. I loved the dill pickles my local Tesco used to sell in their Polish section but they were discontinued and Tesco's own didn't live up to the mark so I had been delightd to find these. Sadly mislead.I have now become a fan of Mrs Elsworth's dill cucumbers which I have on subscription and they fulfil all my expectations of what a dill pickle should be...Edit: I should have mentioned these were purchased at the end of July 2019 and were exactly as I described. It may be they were a 'bad' batch for some reason, but I will never risk buying them again.

Best brand of pickles I’ve ever tried.

Bought a good few boxes. The last box a bought was not jumbo pickles. Some are near half the size to previous for the same price.

I've had these before and enjoyed them but could no longer get them from that website, so I ordered these. They taste vile and I had to check the date cause I assumed they had gone off. They're in date so I can only assume they've not been stored correctly or are a bad batch.

I absolutely love pickles so I was excited to try these....Wtf the tasted disgusting tasted so salty not worth the money. I feel so sick after eating them
