I bought this a while ago and I loved playing with it and showing it to friends but be warned...if you play with it in the sink... do NOT unplug the drain under any circumstances. I lost all of it from the drain and I was so sad but there is no complaint from me. Great packaging and quality. Good for fun and playing or science experiments and testing. For stain removal, I didnt get it on my clothes but I assume it would come out easily with hot water. I dont know how much gallium is worth ounce for ounce but I assume this is a worthy value for the amount you get and the tools it comes with. Also the purity seems pretty good but of course I dont have any idea how to measure purity. It melts in your hands after a couple minutes and you technically can put it on your tongue if you dont swallow. That was a joke dont do that...

Satisfied child was able to play with a liquid metal like the boomers did with mercury before they realized that wasn't a great idea :( Advice, outside and clothing you don't care about. It does wash fairly easily off some things, others not. Throw child and clothing in bath/washing machine (respectively) when done and consider double zip-lock bags for storage. Older responsible kids 14+ should be able to handle it on their own. Remember, its not a toy, its elemental gallium, respect it as such and you'll have a great time.

Definitely pure gallium, but it does leave a gray residue on your hands. Getting it off containers is surprisingly easy. You have to wait for it to dry, scrape off the film, and pour the dust back into the test tube.

When you first get it, and it is in the tube, your best bet is to set the tube in some hot water, as it will take awhile for the thick cylinder of gallium to melt. But, then you can pour it out and play with it. It is messy, and will stain pretty much anything it touches. So, be careful where you play with it. You can use the syringe to pick up the liquid. What we did was to have a container of cold water ready, when we were finished playing with the liquid gallium. Place the liquid gallium right into the cold water, and it will re-solidify. Then, you can just pick it up, and put it wherever you want to store it. Once you have thinner pieces of gallium, it is pretty easy to melt it in your hand.

My daughter has a blast with this. Gallium melts easy and hardens in cool shapes, but in total it's about a gumballs worth so I feel compelled to buy more gallium.

This is a really cool product. My kids love it and have a blast messing around with it. I will say that it can be quite messy, leaving blackish/gray streaks on white cabinets etc.. However, Windex gets if off easily

Good as a classroom demo, but pricey.

It does exactly what it says it does, liquid metal he can hold in your hand. You can fool your friends and pretend like it's mercury, or you can eat things made out of aluminum. It loses its Allure after the first time you play with it though, LOL

Its super fun to use and i made gallium cubes for my desk ( after a hot summers day i decided to place them on a small plate ) cleanup was easy just scrape it onto a plate and wash in warm water to remove the crud

This worked like the YouTube video my son saw & was well enjoyed. It does spread easily so keeping it contained & cleaning up careful were very important. Pricey for such a small item but he used gift money & thought it was worth it.

Son just loves this! It’s easy to melt and mold and never really any mess. He always melts it in a bowl with warm water. Wash up and clean up is a breeze. It’s been a hit with all his friends.

Great product me and my kids love doing the crystal expirement that came with it you get a generous amount of gallium for the price. Would consider ordering again.
