Love this door,super fast delivery and easy instructions to assemble.

This is very good value for what you get , but that comes at a price. The good bits. 1. The door is well finished., but not as advertised. 1. The basic instructions for setup are reasonable. The bad bits 1. The door is not frosted to the level shown on the marketing images, its opaque and you can see through it. I have other acid etched glass doors that look like the sample shots provided...this is very misleading, you need to change this immediately and show how the door looks in real life against a wall...you would see the wall through it . 2. The set screws provided to attach the rail to the wall do not work( and never would). They have a 3mm shallow allen head set screw that is expected to push a tapered steel pin to expand a very strong 8mm casing which has 4 large cutouts. The allen key simply strips the setting and nothing happens... I actually put one of the fittings into a vice jig and tried to expand casing using a very large clamp on the head.....it was totally impossible. The design will never work. 3. Unable to use the given fittings its very hard to get a shallow head fitting that doesnt hit the truck that the door hangs from....., I managed to find good 70mm counter sunk screws that were sufficient to hold the rail without fouling the ruck. The rail side though is very thin with little room for the countersink. I have a workshop and could make something work here, most people will not be able to. I see another comment on getting a professional fitter to install this...basically the items provided wont fit this rail, you need to find another solution. It will cost you a lot of money. 4. I went for the captive slow closure add on . No instructions to fit it whatsoever, after much perseverance i got it installed. its far from obvious, of the 2 black catching lugs on the rail,one of them actually moves of the rail and the first one goes up vertically, opening to allow a face for the part that sits on the door to strike and close...my son found it by accident playing with it .....very poor indeed. 5. The door handle has one half locked by a long screw pinning the handle to the glass door, this is sound and works well. This however leaves a simple metal sleeve for the other side of the door handle to slip over and be held be another tiny 3mm allen key set screw that wont last a week... This door took me a full day for 2 people to install trying to overcome the problems with it , so i spent in labour much more that the door cost so on that basis i need to give it zero stars. although amazon wont allow me to give less than one ...

Fab looking door......needs a competent installer to fit, minor issue with the soft close arms having only one fixing when two would prevent movement, buy it if you have room for the track.

We bought this in 2019. About a year later we came down one morning and the whole door had shattered, we assumed it was because we had underfloor heating. I was very ill at the time and didn’t even occur to me it could have been a fault or I should have complained. Now looking for something to replace it that wont shatter!

I love my soft close Durovin sliding door, I needed to take door off to tile the floor but the builders threw the instructions away, I emailed the company and they sent me a link to the instructions straight away. Would definitely recommend.
