Jolly Pets Romp-n-Roll Rope and Ball Dog Toy, 6 Inches/Medium, Blueberry, Model Number: 606 BB, All Breed Sizes

FINALLY found a toy that suits my aggressive chewer’s style, that has not been chewed to pieces within a week, or a day! Clove has a new favorite toy. It is covered with bite marks, and not one has punctured through, so far. She likes to tug and shake with this one, too. She does love a squeaker, but she is very happy with the air noises this ball makes as she bites it, exercising her jaws. I would also like to get one of these and attach it to a rope on a large tree limb.

We have a 50lb Shar-Pei mix and a 65lb Catahoula mix, both are in love with this ball! I got the 8" and was bigger than I thought it would be, which is perfectly fine (it's about the size of a soccer ball) and because of the size I know the ball will last for a very long time, as they won't be able to fit it in their mouths to chew it up. The only problem I have is the rope. They were given the ball yesterday right after it was delivered and after an hour or so of play our Shar-Pei (who is a master chewer) was starting to cut through the rope. Because of his chewing, most toys (including this one) are outside only (he not only chews up the toys, but will also eat them if given the chance) I thought the rope would hold up longer being that it is limited play outside, but alas, the rope will be sawed through by the end of the week I'm sure. I knotted the rope against the ball to try and make it last a bit longer, (they won't want anything to do with it if they can't pick it up) As the toy isn't cheep, and they love it so much, I'm hoping I can find the rope they use for dog toys so I can just replace it. Over all it's a big hit! However because of the rope issue we are going to get the jolly ball with the handle next time and see how they like that one. ............................................................................................................................. UPDATE - 2 Months After Purchase: OK so we have had the Jolly for about 2 months now and I thought I'd do an update. The rope has actually held up FAR better than I had expected it to. I have not had to replace the rope, and it is still mostly intact. Two months of tug has it very beat up tho. The ball itself still looks almost new. We were so extremely pleased with this toy we just got a second one. I knotted the rope one the new one like it did with the first, so that there is a knot tight against each side of the ball) as I think that really is helping to extend the life of the rope some. One word of advise tho (we learned the hard way) if you live down south like we do, and have fire ants...DO NOT leave this toy in the yard over night!!! Luckily, I had spotted it before the dogs went to play that morning, in one night a bunch of fire ants had nested inside the ball. It took about 3 days of submerging the ball in water to flush them all out (I think they were gone after 2 days but I wanted to be positive every last one was out before they played with it again).

I bought this toy to entertain my four month old puppy when we are in our backyard, it’s a big hit with her; and with my older dog as well. The rope is thick, and is easy for young and older dogs to grip, and the ball itself is very strong. I always o serve my puppy when she’s chewing on her toys to make sure she doesn’t bite off and swallow pieces. So far, my puppy has not been able to puncture the ball or tear up the rope with her raptor teeth. My dogs like to chew it, chase it, and just carry it around the yard like a prize. I will be ordering a second so each dog has their own.

Great toy but would highly recommend supervision on puppy’s when teething. Our puppies love this toy playing tug of war with it. They like to bite on the rope but as puppies teeth our like to shred the ropes and chew. Rope comes off into strings and so not very safe if they would’ve swallowed the strings. So please keep an eye on your dogs or puppies since can be hazardous. But still a great toy but like any toys for any animals you have to keep an eye on them so not just for this toy.

The one toy that will last months. Maybe even years. If they only sold it with extra replacement rope, the only thing a replace every now and then.

Purchased for a retired K9 dog. He loved it. Very rough on toys but this is holding up well. He loves carrying it around in his mouth by the rope.

Bought the rope ball toy. Rope came untied and fell apart within a few days. Rope came out of ball. Ball is durable but disappointed in rope quality. Our dog loved it for 3 days then no rope no interest

These are great fun with the dogs and the pond!

First toy that has lasted longer than 5 minutes with my Weimaraner. She loves balls but usually chews to bits within a short time. It's not a solid ball and large so she can't get her mouth around it. Loves playing fetch with this....in fact I can't get her into the house to eat since getting this toy just over a week ago! Great price too and super fast delivery.
