9012 Motorcycle Accent Accessory: Leading Edge Narrow Front Fender Tip for Harley-Davidson Motorcycles, Chrome

Fast shipping and the chrome finish is excellent. It feels like metal and I'm sure it's cast, but the quality is very good. This is one of those inexpensive, and subtle, trim items that really enhanced the look of my '97 Dyna Glide. A small part that shouts "classy" in a big way. Just a note on install: To get it centered, mark center on the fender and trim; slice the adhesive backing (not the tape itself) through the center; and peel the tape back from the center to enable perfect centering of the trim part to the fender. This worked best for me. Would recommend and purchase again.

It looks good. It's reasonably priced. It is well made with the exception of 'perfectly' fitting my fender. I have an '05 Super Glide. I bought the bike used, so I'm not sure of all it's history. The fender tip fit the curvature of my fender but did not make full contact with my fender. It only adhered along the bottom edge and sides. The top edge above the slots is not touching my fender at all. Not sure how long it will stay on...Could be 6 months, could be 6 years. Too bad because it looks great and adds the right splash of chrome to the front edge that matches my trailing edge fender extension. By the way, the picture is kinda confusing... what you see is.. the black thing is the double sided tape, pre-cut and shaped to fit the chrome piece below.

The quality of this product is great. It is also easy to install as it has a double sided adhesive tape. This does not fit Sportster models (2004-2015) with normal front fenders, although the fitment notification on the page states clearly in "Green" that "This fits your 2012 Super Low XL883L model" in my case. This is WRONG! It does not fit. The package itself states it is for (((narrow))) front fenders on different models. ONLY for NARROW front fenders, so be aware before you purchase! When I reported this to Amazon and told them I had already opened the package and used the adhesive tape, they offered a full refund without having to return the item. As usual, Amazon are fantastic. That's why I'm giving this a 5 Star (besides the quality which I already stated was superb).

This piece of trim is excellent. I ordered the back piece (mud guard) and front edge for my dyna. I got the front piece today and it is great. Good quality item for decent price. only complaint was I had to contact the seller to get it sent. Was 'processing' for nearly 2 weeks.

Made of plastic did not fit well kept popping off. Would recommend buying one made of metal.

Since it wraps around, not terribly easy to get it centered or located where you want. Took a couple of shots to get it right. Make sure that you have it located in the correct spot or it can be difficult moving it without bending. Very nice looking! Good price for metal.

This product came from Powersportsuperstore. It came with two other fender tips shipped in a bubble wrap envelope. The two sided tape was tore off the first 1/2 inch at the very edge but I tried to install anyway. The tip edge was so distorted so bad when installed, it rubs on the metal fender. To send it back, according to Powersportsuperstore, you have to pay shipping even for an exchange. That is funny since it is "free shipping" to the customer. I have bought from Powersportsuperstore several times before without any problem, so the first time I had a problem, I thought they would take care of a regular customer. I was wrong. Their customer service sucks. This was my last purchase with them. I will now look @ Dennis Kirk (very good customer service) & JP Cycle.

Surprised to see this item is actually metal, very nice fit and finish when properly installed.
