The best cooling vest!
These vets are awesome!! I'm a mail carrier and they're life savers! In the summer when I'm out in 90* -115* heat it really helps to keep me cooled down for hours! I soak it in water then continue delivering mail. (Just be careful not to get the mail wet)... I wish I had found these years ago! I highly recommend them to anyone working outside!

Cold and Wet
This vest does what it is intended to do, keep you cold during super hot days while working in the scolding sun. However, while it is mentioned that the vest can be damp due to how you're supposed to make it cool, lords forbid it rains when you wear it.It will be like wearing a large sock over your clothes. You will be kept just warm enough to not keel over, but cold and wet enough to feel like a slimy foot in the winter. It also takes forever to dry once it has been absolutely drenched from the skies waves of fat rain.I've had mine hang above my bathtub in the hopes that it will be dry enough to put back on, but alas-That took days, to nearly a week of trying to hang dry it.Besides it's soggy nature, good vest.(Tldr, vest good, does its job, fear the rain.)

HUGE!!!!
I'm only giving this a 4* review instead of 2* because it does keep me cool as promised..-I ordered a XL and have a 42" chest. This vest is so massive it only touches my shoulders! If I remove the mesh sides and sew it up, it may fit. That is removing over 12" of material! So order 10-12" smaller on the size chart.-This vest is so long, I sit on it. Since I bought it for horseback riding, it would ruin my saddle. So I ony use it around my farm, with a belt on. It would ruin any leather or cloth seat you sit on.- It's super heavy and bulky- It leaks on your pants. So if you wear jeans or cotton, prepare to be soaked to your undies. It also will soak your shirt, so a tech cool or similar wicking shirt works nice. Prepare to have your bra soaked too.- In the AZ dry heat, this does keep me cool and sweat free

Stays cool, but wet and slimy
I tested this out right away and it definitely got cold and stayed cold. The problem is that even after ringing it out, it will leave you wet, and for some reason it is a little slimy to the touch, though that may go away with more uses.I used a thermal gun to measure temperatures, and even after 4 hours it was reading 60 degrees in 75+ degree temperatures

Keeps you cool!
I originally bought this for myself to try, since I work outdoors all summer, but it was too big for me. It did fit my husband though, and he quickly stole it. He loves wearing it under his motorcycle jacket on hot days and says it does an amazing job of keeping him cool. And it stays cool for a very long time. He’s left it draped on the back of a chair overnight and it was still ”working” the next morning. The only drawback is that gravity will eventually pull any excess liquid to the bottom, getting his pants wet. So, he suggests just making sure you ring it out really well before wearing.

Just stays wet it does NOT stay cool
The vest failed 100% it didn’t stay cool but did stay wet. It’s worthless. Do not buy!

Works, but….
I can really appreciate how this vest works. Definitely keeps you cool under the right conditions. I live in central Texas and as such, sometimes the humidity is really high, 80-90%. That means less evaporation. On top of that, my motorcycle has a huge windscreen which means little wind flow. Adding up to a soggy, almost cool, damp feeling while riding. However, if you get sufficient wind flow while riding, this thing works great. I’d say if the humidity is below 75% it might be just fine. I’d recommend to anyone. Give it a try.

Chill-Its Cooling Vest
It gets hot here in Phoenix. Very hot. Riding a motorcycle in 117 degree F weather can be a challenge. When the weather is dry outside, this vest works very well to keep you cool. It does not work during Monsoon season when the humidity is high. It only works properly when the weather is hot and dry. This thing will soak up a lot of water, but to make it work best for trips lasting less than an hour, you only need to spray it down lightly - then it works very well. Quality of construction is awesome. Why pay $150.00 for a name brand motorcycle cooling vest? This one will work for you very well. Also, the sizing seems correct for the American market - e.g. an XLG is a true XLG.
