Dasen 2" Rear Receiver Hitch Fit for Kawasaki Mule 600 610 2005-2016

Fit was not 100%, but I was able to install without much difficulty. Works great!

Two of the nuts were missing. The right hole was drilled in the wrong place so I had to redrill it to make it fit.

The dealer didn’t have a hitch for my Kawasaki mule. So I ordered this. When it arrived, I was impressed with the build quality. But when I fit it to the mule, the bolt holes for the muffler, were about a half inch high. So I read the reviews. Most said it was difficult to install but one said theirs fit easily. My guess is there is no quality control for fit at the manufacturer. They just throw the parts in a jigging and weld them up. So I got my prybar and sledgehammer out, clamped the bracket into a large vise and bent the steel plates so the ears aligned with the muffler. The photo shows the prybar, sledgehammer, 12,13,14,15 mm wrenches and punch needed to install. If you have the tools, you should be able to make this fit or if you are lucky yours might randomly be correct. Good luck

Hitch is heavy duty, but when I installed it one of the bolts on the right side couldn’t be put on. When I tried to put it through the hole, the frame covered about 1/4” of the hole. It’s no big issue, because the other bolts secured it to the frame.

I bought this receiver for a 2021 Kawasaki Mule SX. It’s clearly advertised that the receiver will fit this model, but it does NOT. None of the holes line up, and the receiver pushes against the rear differential so there’s no chance of forcing things to work. Do yourself a favor and don’t buy this product no matter what model Mule you have, the company clearly doesn’t care about false advertising and the receiver had some very shoddy welds.

I needed a bracket to attach to my Kawasaki Mule 2013 to go with the Hitch I purchased (reviewed earlier). This bracket was fairly easy to attach to the mule and the hitch slides in like the hitch on my SUV. I'm no mechanic. The bracket works well with the hitch I purchased. Didn't really take long to install and works well. Really needed this for yard projects.

I installed this on a 2006 Mule 610. Muffler bracket holes in hitch did not align with mule's muffler bracket holes so this required a bit of hole enlargement (not a lot but necessary). Also, the hitch's vertical ears for attachment to the muffler brackets went inside the muffler brackets which required the bolts to be installed from the inside so they would mate with the mule's muffler bracket nuts which are welded on. This required me to add a nut, flat washer and lock washer (each side) so the muffler is securely attached to the muffler mounting brackets. This is much more hitch than my mule needs but provides flexibility for multiple items to be used. A potential 15-20 minute job became more of an hour'ish exercise, but no skinned knuckles or such. haven't used it yet but don't anticipate an issue.

The hitch is made well enough, but the fit-up needs work. 2023 Mule SX, the hitch had to be notched to avoid hitting the differential. Also the mounting tabs for the muffler bracket were 3/16" too narrow on each side - spacers had to be made and longer bolts had to be purchased. The kit didn't come with 2 nuts needed to hold the tabs to the muffler bracket. For $45 it is what it is - a cheap hitch. If you don't have a grinder & drill on hand look for another hitch because this one will need modification to work.

Dislike the wrong pricing

Install was a little involved. the three bolts In the back that clamp to the rectangular tube went in easy. The ears that bolt to the exhaust mounts are wrong. I ended up making spacers that fit over the weld nuts to take up the gap and used the supplied bolts plus two nuts I had to complete installation. Once I did this hitch looks great! If the kit included these spacers all would be right. Two spacers I added were .25in thick drivers side .40in thick passenger side. Inside diameter of .625 to fit over weld nuts. Tl;Dr Product looks like a part from another bike that is close that claims to be for the mule 610. A small amount of home fabrication is needed.

Ajustement tres irdinaine jai du désouder la plaque car elle etait pas asser large pour etre inseré sur le frame comme indiquer et en plus un des trou pour les écrous arrive droit sur le montant du support moteur une chanche que je me débrouille en soudure je le déconseille pour les personne moin bricolleur
