I originally bought this product thinking that my husband would use these for the BBQ as they have a long sleeve and will prevent him from burning himself. However, when they arrived I have been using them in the kitchen...everyday!!! I know I put this in my title but literally these are the best oven gloves ever!!!! I usually don't leave reviews but this really deserved a true unbiased review. The length of the oven gloves just mean you dont accidentally catch yourself on the shelves of oven etc. Which is rare compared to "normal" cloth oven gloves. The material is wipeable so easy to keep clean in comparison to cloth ones. (I'm just not sure how you would "wash" them when they become grubby inside, but I havent had them long enough yet for this to be an issue!?) These were so good my mum asked if I could buy her a pair, and my brother has also asked too!! Definitely reccomend!!

Thes Oven Gloves appear to provide a good level of heat resistance however they are not made correctly to work safely as oven gloves. The thumb is set off to the side, which on other gloves may not be an issue because that is actually where your thumb is located. Unfortunately I do not pick things up between my thumb and the side of my forefinger. My opposing thumb rotates to fall across my palm and inside of my fingers when picking up hot oven dishes. The silicone construction of these gloves makes it difficult to rotate your thumb thr way you may wish to safely pick up hot ovenware or grill pans.Certainly not my greatest puechase and I could not reccommend these gloves. I'll be looking for an alternative very soon.

Just recieved these today after getting badly burnt by wearing my old oven gloves the day before...they had to go.Only used them while cooking dinner this evening but didn't take long to be very impressed! Nice and large, protect your hand and forearm and very heat resistant. Nicely padded too and comfortable...I particularly like the fact too that you can just grab one quickly and they are ambidexterous as in the same grip / protection on both sides so if your left or right handed you can use either glove no matter if your left or right handed, I love them.

All those trendy silicon gloves are terrible. As soon as you hold anything tightly they squash, become thin and you burn yourself. Cloth gloves look nice but get dirty easily. These things solve both. They’re properly heat resistant, easy to clean and sturdy. The only minor negatives are the shape (which fits no human hand completely well) and the length (which presumes you’re dipping your arms into lava up to the elbow). Nevertheless, they do their job better than any oveh glove I’ve owned - and sadly, I’ve owned a lot.

So they stop the heat ...yep!Warm ...yepEasy to clean yepBut missing the most important bit "are they easy to use?" NO! ..no dexterity, can grab a tray unless you can put the mit over its edge to pull it out ...so no finger control ...i have used now for 2 weeks and not impressed. Great if you only want to take a bowl out of the microwave ..but not if you have to grab the edge of a pie tray with fingers!! ...nightmare!!! ...save your money

Thought I’d replace my oven gloves with individual ‘bargain’ gloves, the pink ones in photo three from an alternative website. Big mistake. Sent for the black ones. Easier to use for my partner -> larger hands than mine and comfortable. No excess fabric to get in the way and goes past the wrist area. I can still use them as well.

These replaced some small silicone mitts that had split causing an uncomfortable burn. I bought these due to coming up in the searches and seemed like a good purchase. They do the job, however, they're quite large. I am not sure what size hands you all have, but these bury mine. This is not to take anything away from the product, but bear this in mind.Due to their size, they take up a lot of space in a drawer, so may suit a large kitchen and be hung up.Overall I would recommend these gloves.

The gloves come in a set of 2 pieces, made of good quality materials with an easy grip pattern on the outside. The insides of the gloves are cushioned and of cotton so they are very soft on the hands while using. The gloves can handle a fairly good amount of heat, for e.g. using in the oven, pots from the stove, etc. The pattern on the outside of the gloves are very good for getting a grip on the objects. They do not soil easily as they are very easy to clean and just need a rinse with water and soap. A wonderful product and very useful!
