Very sturdy, writes well, functions well as a pen, glass breaker, and DNA collector.

Great idea to have on hand. I keep it in my left pocket in case i would ever have my right hand incapacitated and can't reach my knife. I have had dreams of that situation happening to to me, so I decided to act on them. Never hurts to be prepared. Pen does what pens do just fine.

I love these pens. I work at an auto dealership, so I appreciate the sturdiness, although the top cap keeps wanting to unscrew off. Good to also have for use as means to break glass if needed and a little personal protection. I carried this in my personal carry on during a recent trip to Ireland and was never stopped and carried it on me the whole trip. I also like the refills.

Review from Don’s mom— I was surprised by the weight of this pen and it takes Parker pen refills, which, in my experience, have been consistently good and offer smooth writing. The clip is super strong and has been rather difficult for me to clip onto anything. Sometimes a tactical pen will have a top that allows you to adjust the strength of the clip to your desired clip ability. Unfortunately, this pen doesn’t have that option. However, I feel pretty confident that the top of the pen, which is a glass breaker, will do the job sufficiently. I don’t remember if, in the description, it said that you could use the point of the glass breaker as a weapon, but I think you can. It may not do serious damage, but it will inflict a degree of pain to your attacker. I just wish that it would come in different colors other than black. Most pouches, purses, the glove compartments of a car are generally in black, which makes finding this pen (black on black) rather difficult. I prefer to get pens that are either hunter orange or fluorescent yellow or even silver in color. That way, I can spot it pretty quickly in my purse or in my car’s center compartment or in the glove box. In summary, this is a full-size pen that has some weight but it’s well balanced. The ink flow is consistent and smooth as long as you buy Parker pen refills. The glass breaker feature feels very pointy and I’ve no doubts that it can break glass. It’s point can be used as a weapon of sorts if you are ever mugged, provided you have it in your hand at the time. The pen feels very durable and should last a very long time. The strong clip means that it will stay in place and not accidentally slide around or slip off. I prefer writing with a heavy pen if I’m going to be taking notes for an extended length of time. So I will be using this pen for taking notes to see how well my fingers handle the weight.

Should last you a long time. I lost the pocket clip, so will get another one. For inside pocket. No worries about breaking in your pocket and getting ink leaking all over your clothing with this pen :-)

Was great at first, quality pen tunes but the body ended up being a bit 'flimsy' for lack of a better way to put it. Probably mostly my fault for keeping it in my back pocket, but I expected it to be a bit more durable. After about 2 months the threading seems to have stripped cuz now it get kind of an infinite spin, and doesnt really lock into place to write anymore. I suppose I'd be more upset about it if it had been more expensive 🤷‍♂️

Nice solid feeling pen. Smooth operation. Writes perfect. Haven't had or felt the need to try the window breaker. Yet..........

Bought two, one was a dud - couldn't stand up to much. Worth the money, but sure there are more durable products out there.

Lo compré para regalar, la verdad es que en cuanto a envío llegó súper rápido y muy bien empacado. En cuanto a uso, a la persona que se lo regalé le encantó y le pareció de muy buena calidad, es algo pesado por los materiales y para esta persona que trabaja en ambientes industriales le vino muy bien.
