Review: Great product but not when it’s stuck in transit - I buy this product every month. This time arrived very late, it was delayed for a week and came browned up with a strange taste. I guess it happens. I’ll take a break from it though.

This is NOT Sibiu!!!!
This is NOT Sibiu Salami. Not even a bad brand of Sibiu Salami. I don't know what kind of salami is this. I personally don't like it. SIBIU SALAMI is one of the greatest salamis in the world but unfortunately it seems you can't buy it online here, you must buy it in Romania :(

The salami is great! The problem for me is that I don't have an option is shipping and regular post takes too long. I'd like to be able to. have it shipped to me in a quicker manner.

Very poor "salam de vara" far away from Sibiu Salami - it is sweet, sour, soft... and not authentic
I was born and raised in Romania and lived there for 29 years. This is not authentic and the recipe they used is not the true Salam de Sibiu recipe. It is made in the U.S. as stated on the plastic cover but was hoping the recipe is the original one. Says 0 sugars but it tastes sweet. It is not dry enough and does not cut easily into thin slices. The pig fat is not marbled when you section it, as it should look like (red and white dots). It also has some sour taste (citric or ascorbic acid was probably used). Sorry, Romanians... you will be disappointed. Not the real thing. I went to Romania each summer & last time in Fall 2019... and tasted the real Salam de Sibiu which has not changed a bit.
