Is this for a "pair" of hangers or just one. Your description does not say.

I bought the pair and hung a couple of chair swings on the covered patio. I can replace the chairs later with a porch swing later if I want.

Does this set of swing hardware include the proper size bolts for attachment?

Yes, it comes with carriage bolts that are long enough to go through a 6x6. However, I doubled up on the cross piece so I had to purchase longer bolts. I also bought the next size thickness as well just to give extra strength. The hole is the swing hanger are big enough to accomodate at least a 3/8 inch bolt even though they provide 1/4 inch x 6" bolts in the package.

Do these hangers include spring clips or s hooks to attach the swing chain?

No, these do not not come with spring clips.

We had a frame welded from steel pipe. Are these hangers suitable to used with steel pipe swing frames?

I am a pipefitter, if pipe is schedule 40 then it will work, use lock nuts on the bolts. Ray B
