I bought this based on some descriptions and photos that were posted on Facebook. I’ve been looking for a sauce similar to the one my parents used to can when I was growing up. It was pricey but people liked it.As soon as I opened the first bottle I was taken back to my childhood. I could smell my parent’s passada.I cooked it with my sausages and let it simmer for a few hours. When I served dinner my husband kept remarking how good the pasta was.He loves my sauce, but rarely keeps commenting on it. And he was right. The taste, to me, didn’t compare to my normal “sugu”.The sauce is thick and rich in fresh tomato flavor. It’s easy to use and came packaged very safely, no breaks or loose lids. This was a good buy, in spite of the price. But I’m going to try to find it cheaper, maybe in an Italian deli somewhere.

The most authentic taste. The bottles are wrapped in bubble wrap sideways and one hard hit, they could break.

Arrived with broken bottles. Leaked into other orders in the same box. No return or refund! Just about $40 worth of garbage to deal with. Contacted Mutti. They responded asking who the sub seller was. About 2 weeks later nothing yet and I'm not really expecting anything. The main shipping box was clearly wet with product as it sat on my porch.

This is the 4th time I ordered this product. I received 2 orders perfectly and 2 orders got sent back before arriving. This is the best tasting sauce I ever had.

Good tomato sauce for the price

I love the sauce but they were broken or leaking from not being packed properly. Glass has to be wrapped securely and tightly packed. These were rolling around.

These bottles are absolutely perfect for a dinner for two, which is fabulous as I was always finding the leftover of larger containers growing moldy or sticky in the fridge. And the bottles are quite nice for those who save or reuse bottles. They could well be used for art or crafting afterwards, or of course food storage. For example, I use one to keep pressed coffee cold in the fridge. I will repurchase these. I have never had a problem with a package being delivered damaged or broken. I don't know what's going on with the Amazon employees in the areas of other people that they receive damaged goods. Package baseball maybe. Amazon should put slats in their boxes to provide buffers (like liquor/wine boxes) when they are packing multiple items.

Ordered 6 bottles. One came with the seal broken/popped, and one had product all over the outside but the seal wasn’t broken.Tried to return/replace, received msg stating no returns/refunds for this item. I guess 4.5 out of 6 isn’t terrible. It’s also not great.
