important info on founder
The book took a long time to get here and I haven't finished reading it yet but the author is renowned for his knowledge on laminitis and how to care for and correct the damage as much as possible. Very informative book for horse people.

useless
This book is more a push for natural shoeing than information on Laminitis. For me this was a waste of money. I found better information on Google.

I actually sent this publication back as it was very technical and didn't answer the simple questions I had. To someone else, it might be a treasure.

A must if you own horses
As a professional natural hoof care practitioner this book is a must read for horse owners. This book belongs in everyone's library. Everything you need and want to know about laminitis is in here. Along with the DVD offered by the author this can be cured. It's not a death sentence

Easy and humane...what's not to like?
Very good. Eye opening. Bought his book on Founder and Pasture Paradise also. Recommended by my vet. Lots less work! Happier exercised horse. Less pesticides and fertilized crop chemicals going in my horse. Humane. Expense in fencing is the biggest downside I see. Written by a farrier who knows hooves.

Easy to read and very informative. Recommend to all horse owners, farriers, and barefoot trimmers, or those simply interested.

Great Way To Learn about Laminitis
Filled with great information about how horses should be trimmed and fed. Loved the book tons of information but not fun having the Laminitis Issues.

The book was good general information but most was, to me, already available on line. Put off by the high fees for "consultation" for individual follow-up.

Not a book for Scottish horse owners
This book was a complete waste of money. It's main purpose is to explain what causes laminitis. Vets and horse owners in Scotland are well aware of the cause, and the treatment. Unfortunately our climate does not provide us with dry pasture for lamanitic horses, so the aftercare described in this book is not possible for most horse owners living in a climate that produces lush grass and mud. Fortunately my horse is now in recovery but no thanks to this book which gave no information I did not already know.

Horse owners bible
This book has saved my pony. Vets wanted to perform radical surgery costing thousands of pounds and months of after care. Luckily I read this book. Within two weeks my pony is on the mend. I have had to change everything including killing my grass but happy horses.

Though provoking and challenging
Thought provoking and shocking. I have moved my horses off any cereal derived feed and introduced oats in addition to sugar beet and linseed and they are better for it. Grass consumption is an ongoing risk.
