I bought this in hopes to charge a Dewalt 18V battery through the dewalt battery charger with a car plug while I'm not in my car. With my doubts, I plugged it all in and it worked perfectly. Charged my completely dead battery in under an hour. I've only used it a few times to charge my battery, but it has done the job and exceeded my expectations completely! My commute to work and errands are very short (~5 minutes) so this wasn't long enough to charge my battery - and I was not leaving my car on just to charge the battery. I'm not a physics person so although I took other comments and FAQs and made computations, I wasn't sure it would work. It did!

It's WORKS. I have used the iSaddle 120W Vehicle Power Inverter to power a small compressor and a mid-size compressor and it works just as well as when I plug the compressors directly into the car power outlet. I tested it using an auto vacumm and It worked. I tested it using a GPS system and again it works. I am very pleased that I have found an 12v inverter product that works as advertised. Used it to create a foam wire cutting rig. It worked great until the connection to the 12v plug became sketchy........

Converter worked awesome with our water transfer pump. So if we have shore power or we run generator we can power with 110v

Started digging through my junk box to look for a computer cord to replace the one supplied. I shouldn’t have to do that. Loose connectivity? Right out of the box? That knocks off a few stars. Made in China. Not UL approved. Other than that - works. It powered my big 12v Coleman cooler and got it down to 36 degrees F. in about an hour or so. So I will keep it. Delivery was quick and undamaged. Side note: on the unit it says: “For use with information equipment only”. Amazon paired it with Coleman coolers in the “often bought together window “. Coleman might not honor your warranty. So don’t tell them if you have trouble.

I tried 3 different simple/cheap one piece converters that didn't work! They didn't maintain 12V and shut down my device. So don't bother with them. This converter works as described and maintains 12V+ consistently and thus does NOT shut down my device! Spend a little more money and get a converter that works!

I wanted this power converter to power a small air compressor. There are times when it is needed away from a vehicle with a 12V plugin. I have now been able to run the compressor plugged into this unit as it has enough power (10A) to power it in tire compressor mode. Very good for the price.
