How do you get more black magic sphere making ingredients?

All of the different chemicals are available on Amazon. Just look at what came with the sphericator and buy in bulk from Amazon.

I did not have much success with the older version. What makes the new version different?

The new version has a more robust internal hose, comes with 100g of Sodium citrate (for recipes/foods that are acidic in nature - something that NEEDS to be used in that case, so we feel it always should have been included but wasn't) as well as a much longer power cord, more & better recipes plus much much better customer support now that Cedarlane has taken it over from the inventor. Can you make popping boba?

They're not quite as large as Boba, but it's the same idea. If you leave them only a few seconds in the salt bath, that's the best way to get as close to boba as possible. If you leave it too long the membrane will get too thick, but if you only leave them a few seconds, they'll pop with flavor in your mouth

Can you change the size of the pearls?

Yes it comes with two sized nozzles which control the sizes. One the size of roe and one about 40% smaller
