Good and helpful if you get cold sores often

Can’t say enough good things about this. I felt the inevitable tingle on my lip after getting over a cold, which always happens after I get sick. I started putting this on rather obsessively and within a day the tingling went away and a cold sore never popped up!! Abreva never worked well for me or helped with the healing. Still would take so long to go away and didn’t stop a cold sore from forming. I was reading how lysine is good for stopping cold sores so I’ll always have this product on hand from now on!

Aside from lysine, it has an oil in it that keeps the air off the blister, which makes the blister almost pain free. I also believe that the blister healed faster.

I know different things work better for different people, but for me personally, I found it to work better than Abreva, didn't leave a weird residue on my cold sore and while mine did have a bit of a menthol scent, it was not overpowering. This did not burn or sting for me. I applied it at the first sign a cold sore was coming by putting a tiny bit on the end of a cotton swab and applying it where it was needed, making sure to not touch the cotton swab to the container after it had touched my lip. A little bit goes a long way, so this small tube will likely last you a while.

This is some of the best cream that I have ever used and I’ve had cold sores on and off my entire life and I am 33 years old! I would definitely recommend this to anybody who deals with cold sores!!!

I buy this product every few weeks. I use it nightly and I think it helps to prevent cold sores. It is also helpful with the pain, itching, and healing if you do get a cold sore. Very hydrating for dry lips.
