Does the job
Been using these for a couple of weeks now, put the 5 of them spaced out in the garden, they are small in size so don't stand out to much in the garden which is good, had a look in them after a week and the bait blocks supplied are getting eaten so must be working, 3 out of the 5 were getting used by the mice , so far so good, only one key supplied but won't matter if you loose it you could open with 2 cocktail sticks or similar if needed, safe if you have dogs or cats , so no complaints for the price

Where are the instructions?
5 Boxes of roshield mice bait arrived promptly, only criticism so far is there is no instruction leaflet. Are the boxes just placed in appropriate places, why is there a red key on one box, is it for opening and refilling? There are two openings in each box, is that for mice to pop in, have a look round, and pop out again? We have checked the website, but it will not let us access manuals unless we sign up for newsletters, and we don' want to do that.

Best buyer.
Safe to use. Good quality, value for money. Is the best to buy for your home.(Private joke the mouse took 3 days to go to heaven, because it wasn't hungry enough).

Poor packaging , concerns for safety and not big enough for rats!
Iโve complained through Amazon to the seller but also felt I needed to write a review too due to the unsafe packaging and the size of the boxes advertised for rat and mouse use. Ordered the 5 pack of these pro shield rodent bait boxes and when I opened the box the bait boxes were not in any other protective packaging and arrived with bits of the poison all over the boxes and inside the main box.I was expecting them to be in another box as shown on the photo advertised , for safety reasons. I feel this is very dangerous practice to send like this due to the potential harm to humans and other animals and their caution to use this product safely!Additionally, the bait boxes are only small as are the entry points into the bait boxes , only big enough for a mouse and not for a rat so not advertised correctly.Iโm awaiting a response but feel this is a big safely issue and false advertising.

no key!
ok so i wont need it yet but it is advertised with one and it never came with the order.saying that you can get into them with a simple small screwdriver or anything to push through one of the holes. Guess it just makes them kiddie proof.

Effective
This autumn has been a bad one as regards mice coming into the house - despite the metal mesh we placed over all of the external air-grills last year. Fortunately, these bait boxes appear to be ideal for eliminating these small rodents (Note - they are too small for rats). The 5 boxes come ready fitted with a bait-block in each. These are locateded in a cubicle within the box. The boxes can also be used with readily available poison "pasta" sachets. There is a single red plastic key for opening the boxes to add bait. Once closed, the locks keep little fingers and pets out - but, don't lose the key!The boxes are relatively small so can be placed discretely where mice have been seen. We have put them under kitchen units (behind the skirting) and at the back of disused fireplace grates. We use nitrile gloves whenever we handle the boxes or bait-blocks.After about 3-4 days, we seem to have a mouse-free house. That said, we have purchased some extra bait-blocks in case the pesky rodents reappear! We were not over keen on using poisons but, alas, all our attempts at using humane repellents failed. Sonic plug-in devices were completely ignored by the mice! These boxes are reasonably priced, reusable and, with same day delivery, we are rather chuffed!๐๐๐
