I have been taking extra virgin Siberian pine nut oil on and off for several years to heal flare-ups of digestive issues. And it really works! However I've always taken it in liquid form. And that's not always easy to do when you're traveling or eating out in restaurants. I'm so happy to have it in soft gels that I can take anywhere easily. And the soft gels are a lot more pleasant to take than a spoonful of oil. Even though the oil has a nice taste. For the oil, it was recommended that I take one teaspoon about 10 to 15 minutes before each meal, and also before bedtime. And so I would do that whenever I had a flare up of symptoms. The symptoms would start to ease within a day or two, and usually after a week or two would go away all together. And then I weaned my dose down to just taking it before bedtime. And then I would finally stop after I felt totally fine again. And sometimes if I felt like symptoms were beginning to flare up then I would start taking the pine nut oil once a day before bedtime, to nip it in the bud so to speak. So I find that taking three of these pills three times a day is about the same as what I was doing with the liquid form. Although these say they can be taken with meals or in between. I have been doing it with two meals a day and at bedtime. So it is a little pricey. But it is about the same price as the bottle of liquid that I was using. And it lasts about the same length of time as the oil when taken at that rate. But then like I say I find that I can wean myself to just once a day and then stop after a while. Or continue at once a day for maintenance. So it's not a long-term commitment to that expense. And I think the price is well worth it for stable digestive health! And I think it works for multiple digestive problems. I sometimes have flare-ups of diverticulitis. I sometimes have discomfort in the upper digestive tract. And I sometimes have problems with irregularity. And it helps with all of that. Additionally, I have read that it can have benefits for metabolism and maintaining a healthy blood pressure. My only frustration is that right now this product is unavailable. And it needs to be available consistently if you're going to take it steadily. I did find a few other similar products at a cheaper price. But they also have a much lower dose of pine nut oil and they seem to contain some other ingredients, whereas this product is pure Siberian pine nut oil. So I hope this product becomes available again soon. And I really wish I had discovered it sooner! It's a convenient and easy way to aid digestive health!

I’m not sure why there are several negative reviews based on the quantity of pills in the bottle if you can’t do basic math to understand how long something will last you that seems to be a personal issue and not the distributors. Yes if you take them as instructed you will need to buy a few bottles to last. But let me tell you it is worth it. These have always been a savior for my boyfriends constant stomach troubles. Not to mention how easy it is to get him to take these versus other medications that taste horrible or end up making him feel worse. He is always his best when he takes these. Overall honestly for the price and ease these pills are an amazing option and worth a try for anyone to help with their stomach issues.

Not sure yet, but it seams to be working, I've only been taking it for a week so I tink it's working.

I love this product! I had reached a new level of frustration with my IBS. None of the medications or diets relieved my symptoms and I was becoming very isolated and depressed!! I researched alternatives for medications and pine nut oil was discussed as being very effective in some patients. On a whim, and a prayer, I purchased this pine nut oil. I was impressed with its ethical and natural sourcing. After 2 weeks my IBS symptoms have greatly improved and I feel like I have my life back. I still do have occasional bouts, but it's no longer a daily concern or problem!!

This product as far as I can tell is pretty good I don't know if I noticed any noticeable changes I'm a pretty healthy person I just took it because I heard how good it is for you to have pine it didn't taste like anything so you don't have to worry about that but I would purchase again

I have Hashimoto’s thyroiditis and I have been looking for something natural to help with my acid reflux. These capsules are amazing and I get relief daily from my reflux. I originally ordered the Siberian pine nut oil but the flavor for me was strong. I decided on the capsules because they are easy to take on the go. If you want a quality product with a great company this is your product!

I have tried just the straight oil from this company before. But I haven't been consistent. Mostly because of how expensive it is. So I decided to try the capsules because I ASSUMED it was a month supply. The instructions say take three thrice daily. The serving size is three capsules, the number of servings is 30. So that seemed contradictory. I called the company in Puyallup, and the instructions are take three capsules three times a day, so 9 total per day. If you divide 90 by 9, that means you're getting a 10 day supply. Who would buy a 10 day supply of supplements? So I'm rating this product low based on confusing instructions. Also, the packaging should say right on the front, "10 day supply". I think the packaging is VERY misleading and borderline unethical. As for it's effectiveness, how will I know after 10 days? I need to try the oil for at least a month. So, although I've bought from this manufacturer before, I will be selecting a different manufacturer. I think the price is expensive across the board for this product. So that will no longer be a main consideration for me. Accuracy in dosage instructions is what will drive my next purchase.
