Inexpensive Alternative
I purchased these replacement batteries because of their low price and the fact that they came with a screen protector. There wasn't just one screen protector, it was a pack of 3! It was simple enough to cut one of them down to size and apply it to the screen of my camera. This was the first time I used the method of applying Windex to my fingers and the screen before applying the protector and the result was flawless. These batteries have a rating of 1200 mAh, whereas the Canon battery that comes with the PowerShot SX260 is only 1000 mAh. They charge very quickly, and thus far I haven't had any problems. I've only had the camera for a short period of time, so I have yet to take it on an all day adventure where I shoot 500+ pictures. I'm not sure if it would last that long, but since this is a 2-pack of batteries it won't be a problem to have one or two spare charged batteries with me at all times.

Great for SX280
I recently bought a Canon SX280 and was disappointed by the limited battery life compared to the previous SD750 that I had. But I guess this is the price you pay for progress in the form of additional features such as wifi and GPS. First I had to update the SX280 fw to fix a known bug with the battery reporting in video mode. Next I measured the provided battery 10,000 mah and it provided ~20 mins of video with standard features enabled. My video needs for things such a kids concert bands will definitely exceed this 20 mins so I began looking for additional batteries. I found this battery pack as well reviewed and highly recommended on Amazon and a dual pack at low price to boot. I received the items rather quickly and have not been disappointed. I ran the same test as previously with these 12000 mah units and achieved ~ 23 mins under same test conditions. So this seems to scale well with the OEM battery life. Additionally, I just used the camera to record some video and audio during a concert and was pleasantly surprised to actually capture more video than this with the GPS disabled. I started videoing a song after having already recoded for some time, and the low battery light came on. However, I was able to capture a complete 20 minute clip, with minimal zoom changes, before stopping the capture. I think there may still be a bug with the camera not reporting battery life correctly as evidenced by that capture. However, now that I have these 2 extra batteries I will still be able to change batteries and video more. I would definitely recommend these to anyone with a Canon SX280.

Insuring we won't miss important events...but don't bother with the screen protectors!
It's always a good idea to have spare batteries charged and ready so you don't miss out on important events. The cost for these seemed reasonable and I am happy with the batteries, but I also got a screen protector along with the other items. THOSE WERE TERRIBLE! I applied the plastic film very carefully and used the plastic wedge to be sure the film was sticking and without bubbles. IT DID NOT WORK! I had lots of bubbles that I couldn't remove and the film peeled off within 24 hours. I ended up using a spare protector for my cell phone and cut it to size. :-( I wouldn't waste money on buying these two items together.

Good results
I bought the extra batteries as backups for my trip. I wanted to make sure I had plenty of battery power for lots of pictures. At a crucial moment my camera did tell me my battery needed recharging. I switched to one of the replacement batteries and went on as usual. The replacements did a fine job. Didn't last quite as long as the original but they did a great job and the price was right. Glad I had them with me.

Good value
I got a set of these in 2014 to go with a new camera. Although they didn't hold a charge quite as long as the Canon-brand battery, they were excellent substitute batteries to have on hand. I used them regularly as substitutes for the Canon battery for about 10 years before they eventually wouldn't hold a charge anymore, so I definitely got more than my money's worth out of them. Here's hoping that the new set lasts as long!

Seem OK
Seem ok. At price so much lower than Canon can carry 4 in pocket incase life is shorter. Last 100 plus shots or all day with my outdated Canon .

Important Info On Fix For Battery Problem
I have given 3 stars, but don't know yet if that is too high or too low. I have just erased a review very critical of the batteries because of new information that indicates it may have been unfair. The cause, I have learned, for at least part of the problem was the camera, not the quality of the batteries. If I find that the cause was entirely the camera, then I will so indicate in this review and give the batteries 5 stars. My problem was that after a period of time using the camera that the batteries seemed to lose much of their charge. Then not even a fully re-charged battery would work. The charger by means of the green light was saying the batteries were charged. However, the camera would start then shut off immediately saying on the screen that the batteries needed to be charged. Yesterday I contacted Canon service and received a quick response. The fix, they said, was to remove the battery from the camera, CLOSE the battery door, then press and hold the start button for 1 minute. At the end of the minute, I opened the door, put in the battery, one of those the camera had been saying needed to be charged even though the charger said it was charged, and pressed the start button. This time when the camera started I could see on the screen that the camera considered the battery fully charged. What a relief! Canon said that what happens is that sometimes the camera's capacitor (whatever that is) retains some of the energy, causing the symptoms that I was experiencing. Removing the battery, closing the battery compartment door, and pressing the start button for 1 minute drains all the energy out of the camera and resets the camera. I asked whether it was possible that I will have to do this again, the reply was "yes", it is very possible because they don't yet know the cause.

Well worth the money
I have an old canon camera I havenโt used for years and forgot I had it. Came across it while cleaning up. Decided to check it out. I opened the case and it still had the original battery in it from 12 years ago. I figured the camera was ruined but the battery didnโt leak. Called local camera shop for a new battery and was told they had a new one for $ 99.00. Went to Amazon and bought 2 batteries for a fraction of the price. To my surprise I actually was able to charge up the old battery and still use it after 12 years. Those batteries are unreal and way cheaper then buying at a camera shop. Buy Amazon.ca for good quality.

not worth
just disappointed with poor durability. can't take more than 30 pics with flash, without flash less than 40 pics. tried video but battery drained in 4 minutes video only. I will not say its completely waste of money but such low durable battery, i did not expect.

Good value for updating older cameras
Good batteries for our older S95. Value per battery is good. Performance seems solid. Will be using in underwater camera housing where battery changes are not possible and most shots are with flash.

very good
I wanted to say how happy I am with the Batteris. These batteries have been a game changer for me. They last a really long time, which is awesome when I'm out and about taking photos. And the fact that they charge up quickly is a big plus too. It's a relief to know I always have a spare battery ready to go. If you're looking for reliable batteries for your Canon camera, I can definitely vouch for these ones.
