This very unique, creamy hazelnut honey is a truly wonderful blend. 100% raw, it is the honey that comes directly from the honeycomb without heating, without pasteurization or any kind of processing. It is then blended with the freshest raw hazelnuts from local producers. It is the healthiest choice amongst the various forms of honey as it has the most nutritional value and contains amylase, an enzyme concentrated in flower pollen which helps predigest starchy foods like breads. This raw honey comes from blossoms of scented Mediterranean flora such as Myrophora (wild Cyprus lavender), spatzia (sage), lapsana (rapeseed) and orange blossom. It has an exquisite flavour and fine aroma. The fact that it is un-processed, without using any heat, means that this wonderful honey retains all of its intended nutritional benefits such as it being rich in anti-oxidants, amino acids, minerals & vitamins as well as helping with digestion & also being a very good anti-fungal.
