How a dryer should be
Smooth nothing to alter size of rod doesn’t matter. If your selling something in the USA as a courtesy you should at least put the directions in English.

Could be improved.
Good value on an established product. Would be better for the price if there was an additional stand and the one provided was adjustable. I duplicated the stand with black plexiglass and made it adjustable up and down.

Heavy duty or light duty
Been using mine to evenly dry epoxy on bamboo gaffs. 6-10 ft pieces of bamboo Calcutta are heavy but this little motor does it with ease

It’s ok, cheap boot, would suggest relaxing upon purchase
Built 1 rod before it broke, rubber boot ripped like a cheap plastic bag from the deli. I would replace on purchase, ruined a lamiglas GSB build do to it.
