Super easy to use! I have purchased 2 of these in the past 14 years, it is extremely durable and has a nice weight which helps with straightening! The heat dial is also easy to turn and provides a great range for all hair types. I will always opt for this hair straightener

I had this brand of flat iron for over 10 years and continued to work well until the day I dropped it off my dresser. I was so happy to see it available on Amazon and ordered it immediately. This flat iron has an adjustable heat level, it works very well, and is very good quality.

BALLIN! I LOVE this straightener and promptly sold my old bed head straightener, good byeee. Anyway, all of that aside, for real, I love this thing. I have super thick, wavy, frizzy black hair (latinx) that use to take at least 2 hours to do my hair. My old bed head straightener would fry, and then make my arm and oddly, the joints in my hand to flare up in pain (really, I use to have to take a break because my hand kept hurting). I was looking for something that really worked and was reasonably priced. Now, I originally saw this and tested it on my hair at the women's expo in Hartford but they were trying to sell it to me for $150 and I went to amazon to see if I could score a deal. Now, the person trying to sell me the PYT saw me on my phone and I guess knew I was looking at amazon and was pissed, and offered me the item for $80. That was a deal but I found it on amazing for $45, much better price. And I must say, I was worried I might get a fake one but I have used it a couple of times and it is doing it's job. What once use to take 2+ hours to do now only takes 15 minutes tops. I can straighten and style my hair very quickly and with zero hand pain. Now, I only got this last year in about November or so but so far so good. I will say though, that I wouldn't use this everyday since it does heat up a lot and seems like the type of product to fry your hair if you use it everyday.

This is my second PYT hair straightener I’ve owned and I love it! My last one lasted about 15 years. It started going out this year so I knew it was time to replace it. I love the different designs to choose from and how soft my hair feels after using it! I had the peacock design for my first one and now I got the galaxy one. Definitely a must have if you’re looking for a straightener!

This is the best ceramic straightener I've ever used! I've been trying to not perm my hair anymore so I can reduce the amount of damage being done to my hair. If anyone is curious about my nationality, I'm black. When I run the PYT through my hair it makes it look like I permed my hair! It's truly amazing and it leaves a shine to your hair. A great way to keep that shine is to spray your hair with an oil sheen and then run the straightener through your hair and your results will be amazing. It goes up to like 450 degrees but I don't know who would ever need or want anything that hot on their head. I usually try to keep it set at about 300 degrees but if you are black and have natural hair the higher temperature setting would work well for thicker hair of all nationalities. This straightener is defiantly a FABULOUS investment especially if you do your hair yourself. You can watch videos on Youtube to learn ways to style and design your hair with a flatiron/straightener. Another thing that I wanted to mention is that the PYT's plates are all ceramic. If you have a Chi, the plates on the Chi are not entirely ceramic. The PYT is completely ceramic and it does less damage to your hair. I have uploaded a picture of myself with my hair styled using the PTY before I stepped out the door. I recommend this product to anyone who straightens their own hair. Especially if you waste your money by paying someone to straighten or style your hair. The PYT is tool you will use to do both straightening and styling. You won't be disappointed at all.

I am skeptical that this is a legitimate PYT product. I have purchased a PYT flat iron before direct from a kiosk. They heat up in less than 10 seconds and the plates match up. They also do not pull your hair. I took this product out of its packaging, plugged it in and waited several minutes. It never came up to the proper temperature. I tried running it through my hair anyway and it pulled my hair really bad. Upon further inspection, I noticed the plates don't come together except for at the tip. This one is going back. I'll try one from a different seller.

The seller was prompt and courteous when exchanging the flat iron. The flat iron makes my hair really soft. Only down side is that my hair frizzes faster when compared to other flat irons. It could be b/c I don't t set the flat iron very high at all (usually set at less than halfway or halfway on the dial), but I don't have to b/c the flat iron gets my hair straight and soft typically in 1 and at most 2 passes. I also have thick, tightly curled ethnic hair. The flat iron is advertised as 1 1/4 inch but is really 1 inch. Flat iron would be better if it had a damp to dry option as well. Better price being sold on Amazon than paying way more on the pyt website + there was free shipping and returns through Amazon Prime.

I’ve purchased many flat irons, but this one… works best. I have a $500 flat irons that doesn’t work half as good as this one. Second time buying this one. Love it

I’ve tried other hair straighteners and this one is the best by far. I’m almost 50 so hair health is an issue. This straightener does a great job of keeping my hair looking and feeling healthy instead of dry and brittle. Worth every penny.

I have used many straighteners & this is by far the best. This is the only one I will ever buy.
