Executive Shaving 100 g Deluxe Soft Lime Soap

This is the second time I have bought this product for my dad. He absolutely loves it and it lasts ages. Great product and great value for money.

I am quickly becoming a devoted fan of The Executive Shaving Company's products. The Deluxe Shaving Soap arrived today and, after one use, I am already impressed. I am also using their pre-shave oil and balm. This has happened followed my conversion from new-fangled razors to Double-Edged Safety Razors. Shaving has gone from a chore to a pleasure.

I am only giving it two stars because the scent is nice and it leaves your face feeling soft. I have been wet shaving all my adult life and DE and straight shaving for 7 years and this is the poorest soap I have purchased. It needs loads of working with the brush to get any sort of decent lather. You also need a lot of it, twice as much as I would normally use. I can only compare this to other soaps and creams I have used and quite simply it doesn’t stack up especially for a premium priced product.

My new go to shaving soap. A little goes a long way, it lathers nicely, doesn’t dry out my skin, doesn’t leave the same powdery residue as others I’ve tried and smells awesome.

Cruelty free and great for my sensitive skin. The smell is really lovely.

I have worked through a couple of these tins. Proraso was a favourite, until I discovered this. I have skin problems with nasty additives. This either has none or I am immune to them. It does the job, especially if you foam it properly.
