Totally Bamboo Lattice Flatware Caddy with Handle

I won't be using this for a few months but just looking at it makes me feel that this is the product for me. It is very nice looking and I tested some forks and knives and it works fine. I suppose it could tip over with the light napkins in the back as someone mentioned. But I don't plan to carry it around much or not at all, so it will work for me. It's a substantial item; nothing flimsy about it.

I like this bamboo caddy. It is sturdy and holds my silverware easily. The pocket for napkins is neat too, particularly if you want to place the caddy on a table for a casual setting. The color is nice in my opinion too! The only drawback for me is that if you're carrying the caddy, it becomes heavy and rather lopsided on one side because of the weight of the silverware on one side.

This is a nice utensil holder. We recently used it for a house-party of 70 people. We used the napkin slot for extra utensils (lying on the side) and placed napkins on the table. That worked out well. We wish we had 2 of these! It's good-looking, though if you look closely there were a couple of teenie tiny chips in the wood upon arrival. No biggie, just something I observed. Anyway, we were glad to have it!! Certainly serves its purpose and is nice for the price.

Totally Bamboo makes a full line of attractive, well built and well designed servingware. This flatware daddy is no exception. It looks really great, almost art deco in design. The compartments hold enough flatware to accommodate a large group and the fold up handle makes it easy to carry or pass. We have recently purchased several pieces of the totally bamboo line and have been very satisfied with them all.

Bought this for our Fiestaware silverare that won't fit into the kitchen drawer. This is currently holding the forks, spoons, and knives for 7 sets of such silverware with room to spare. The looks combined with the large area for napkins makes this a great center piece for the dining room table. The trouble comes with the carrying handle. While the idea of it folding to one side is nice to keep it out of the way, the off balanced weight of heavy silverware on one side with napkins on the other causes it to tip when carried by the handle and thus keeps it from being carried in such a manner. When I get the time, I will probably modify it to keep the handle in a fixed upright position. With it remaining upright, it should still be out of the way for both silverware and napkins. Otherwise, it is a great product.

This is going to be used in our cabin. I looked for wood because our cabin is rustic and I think wood accessories are rustic. This seems well made, functional, and attractive. This should be perfect!

well, buyer beware. This looks good but its totally impractical.If you put silverware as intended, and napkins as intended, the caddy is so unbalanced it tips over to the side. The handle has no 'brake' so it swings all the way to the other side and dumps out the heavy silverware side. Sigh. Not well designed.

Nice idea, bad design. The handle is fits rather loose (couldn't tighten) so if the weight of the contents in the caddy isn't well distributed, the whole thing will flip over spilling contents. It is pretty and well made. Good color and smooth surface.
