I returned another remote that hadn't panned out, and ordered this one, since it specifically listed my Vizio TV model. It was a little slow starting, for some reason - I had to aim it carefully for it to work, but work it did! I guess it had a bit of a learning curve, or maybe I did, but at any rate it now works as intended. It's an exact copy of my old one, which just plain wore out after years of faithful service. So nice to have a working remote!

Replacing the remote was key for my 94 year old Dad who was having a hard time operating the TV from the side panel since his remote stopped working. We had tried other universal remotes that somehow all stopped working. When we received this remote we eagerly placed the batteries in it and as soon as I pressed the power button the TV turned on and proceeded to do all the basic operations the TV is equipped for. No codes, no nothing, it started working from the start.

I purchased this yesterday received it early this morning. A FYI to all new and or upset orderers the battery compartment is labeled for " AAA" Batteries when in fact they do not fit this unit they are too short/ small. But The "AA " Batteries fit fine in the unit and the lid closes good.That is what I did .The unit works fine for me. So I recommend that before losing your cool give a battery change and see if it's just a miss label before you send it back.

i ordered one and the batteries don't fit in the compartment, which is too large so there is no complete circuit to make the remote operational. Thought it was a fluke and ordered a replacement, which is in the same condition.I would not order this product from this vendor

This replacement remote was a lifesaver after I dropped the one that came with the TV and broke it. Since Visio doesn’t manufacture this remote anymore it was wonderful to discover one on Amazon.

This one worked perfectly on my Vizio TV model M260MV. I strongly recommend!

The thing barely works. I have to press the buttons hard as heck to get the volume to work.

Had 2 original Vizio remotes, both quit and got a universal that only had a few functions. Got this one, identical to originals which is working so far. Good price so better than half assed universals even if it quits after a year or so.
