Air Collar

I had a pinched nerve around C6-7 level. My doc was super conservative and recommended stretching and PT. I bought one of those neck stretchers that you hang from something and then you pull yourself - that worked well, but it wasn't like you could do that for prolonged periods. With the neck traction device I was able to wear it while working at my desk for several minutes (or longer) at a time. It's easy to use, easy to take on and off, easy to adjust. I found that I really didn't need the air collar part. It seems like it should fit a wide range of people. I tended to have to crank mine down to get a good fit, so maybe that's where the air collar could be more helpful. Overall using this consistently (daily) was enough to get my neck relax and create space for healing in short order, YMMV, but considering I had struggle for months before, I'll take it! Haven't had any issues with quality, it seems well assembled with good materials, and again I can do this stretch anywhere, not tied down (literally) to something stretching me.

I have neck issues due to a car accident 19 years ago. The damage caused many problems and left me arthritis. It gives me the stretch I crave and gets blood flowing in between the vertebrae’s.

I love it. Immediately tried it once I got it. I currently deal with foraminal Stenosis and C5 C6 disc bulge. Going through PT, but for the longest time it felt like traction was the only thing that could help. Helps alleviate my tinnitus, not completely but minimizes it. I also have a Saunders traction machine, which I do like more, but I will say this does excellent for much cheaper. Only downside, if you have a long neck, you almost wish for 1-2 more adjustments vertical.

Does not fit an over 6 ft tall man. No mention of any sizing. Trash company with trash support. Can not get through to anyone at all. Avoid if you have a larger neck.

I bought this to help alleviate the almost unbearable pain I was in during due to dislocated ribs and a pinched nerve in my neck. I have researched and bought several items to help decompress my neck and none of them worked until I found this traction device. It is almost to par with the traction machine used by physical therapists. Several reviews stated that it chokes the user, regardless of neck size. I believe thats from a lack of experience with traction devices. I left weights daily and my neck and shoulders are a little larger than most, and I was able to wear it without the choking feeling. The pump is strong, the brace itself is very well made and doesn't feel cheap, and the fasteners are very good and down 'slip'. Highly recommend.

It keeps releasing itself once I get it all completely on and adjusted and inflate it either the back knob lets go or the latch releases. Won't stay on in order to actually help. Poor quality or I got a defective unit. I hope I can return it.

Neck traction device by Air Collar. The collar works, but puts a lot of pressure onto your jaw. Difficult to reach the adjusting knob in the back. Not sure the plastic gear teeth are going to last very long. The pads do NOT come off for cleaning. Obviously I got one that someone tried taking the pads off and so all the little plastic rivet cover caps stick up and I have to push them back on all the time. The pads smelled like somebody had used it with menthol rub. The box it came in looked fine but inside had torn open plastic bags that should have been wrapping the product. Amazon obviously sold used as new. Not happy about that..

It’s great and your neck can feel the difference. Must do it for at least 30 days
