We enjoy the Schott Zwiesel Stemware and this one is just he right size. The glass will hold 13.6 oz however the 5 oz pour is just right in the glass. The glass is light, easy to handle, and quite durable. Our guests enjoy these glasses as well. It is my wife's favorite wine glass and therefore it is my favorite wine glass. We received them on a Sunday as stated, and were quite pleased with the packaging. In fact we used the packaging to store older glasses (not as favorable as these). The glass is great, the price was right, and the shipping was as we expected. Thank you... I would highly recommend these glasses.

I love these wine glasses! I have been researching new wine glasses for quite awhile and wanted something that was not only beautiful, but break resistant. The fact that they are lead-free was also very important. These met all my criteria. They are of superb quality and look wonderful with my table settings, as well as for casual use. I have put them in the dishwasher -- would never put my other crystal glasses in the dishwasher-- and they come out sparkling. I am happy I did my research and found just what I was looking for.

I'm not a wine drinker, but my wife is...I was looking for a nice set of crystal glasses and these have made an impression on everyone who drinks out of them...I'll explain: We have some nice GLASS wine glasses, and much to my surprise there is a smell and TASTE difference when drinking out of these crystal wine glasses. 100% of the people we've had try this taste test have chosen these glasses (I'm sure it's more about the material vs these specific wine glasses). But pour some wine (red or white, doesn't matter) into these and then glass, glasses. Smell it, taste and I would almost guarantee you will notice a difference. I'm sure someone a lot smarter than i can explain this (which I don't need) all I know is it exists. That said, these glasses are very nice. Too tall to fit in our dishwasher (which I guess is frowned upon anyways), and they've honestly taken some "bumps" that I was certain was going to break them while washing them. They are very light and feel very fragile. I'd recommend these...

These glasses are beautiful, and well made. The are not as durable as they claim: The empty glass was knocked over on a formica counter, and the stem snapped, as shown. Perhaps a slight increase in the stem diameter would do the trick.

These things are awesome. Since it became better known that "real crystal" i.e. leaded glass can leach lead into your beverage, its use in drinking glassware has dropped dramatically. These are made of what's classified as "crystal glass", substituting Ti for lead, so they're safe. And really strong! I was searching for quality thin-walled glassware, and ended up buying five batches of Schott Zwiesel in various sizes and shapes. Right off the bat, after an initial washing as I was loading them into the cabinet, I accidentally wacked one of these wine glasses pretty hard on the cabinet door. It rang like a bell, loudly, but did not break. Any other wine glass would have shattered, I'm certain. Now a year later of regular use, including by the clumsy wife, and I've yet to have one break (jinx). I need to get some more of these in different sizes while they still are available. Really happy with them.

We ordered these glasses since we had purchased 8 of them at a winery some years ago. After breaking all but 2(!) we decided to order more. They are the perfect vessel for whites, reds, or rose. The glasses we received from Amazon all have flaws and it we discovered this while washing them after delivery. A disappointment, since our others were perfect. We are unable to use them except when glassware runs out during a large gathering. Would never order them again without seeing them first.

I purchased this set of wine glasses 4 years ago as a Christmas gift for my mother. The glasses are of the highest quality and still look brand new. The Germans' are known for their expertise in creating fine stemware and beer glasses. With this set; the test of quality happens when you do a toast. If you hear a continued DING... from high to mid to low decibel within that single toast, you know you are getting high quality. For the price, this set is good value for what you are getting.

Can one fall in love with a wine glass? Apparently, yes! Just used these and two other Schott Zwiesel styles at a little wine dinner for 36 as a fundraiser...and my kitchen staff decided to save time by throwing all into the dishwasher (actually three loads, to be precise). Not trained professional helper-bunnies either, we are talking friends and colleagues who had also partaken in the vino...No Chips! No Cracks! No Broken Glasses! Nope, nada, zippo! Hurray! Okay, not until the next week when I knocked one off the deck and into the rocks far, far below...come on, you cannot count that one! And the "wine people" were shocked at the quality of the glasses! No lip, thin as paper, and crystal clear! Yep, love at first gulp...I mean, "sip".

Needed some glasses for Pinot Gris and Rose.

I bought these glasses because I wanted elegant wine glassware without worrying about breaking them. The glass is thin and sturdy. I have not accidentally dropped any since I have purchased them so I can't attest to how break resistant they are. I only handwash my wine glasses, but in standard use none of them have chipped or cracked or broken. They came safely packaged and all glasses intact. These glasses were an investment that I am very pleased with. I would absolutely recommend them.

Las copas llegaron integras y sin daño alguno. Había leído que son sumamente delgadas lo cual es falso. El grosor es el correcto para una copa de cristal (no vidrio) por las bondades que ofrece ese diseño. Una excelente compra!

Good quality glass, sturdy but keeps the mouth thin. Not as thin as more expensive glass, but it is a good balance as I am not afraid to put them in the dishwasher.
