I bought this dog door thinking it was going to be cheaply made and I couldn't have been more wrong. It is a nice thick strong plastic rubbery texture. I couldn't afford to replace my porch yet and had a dog door that was here when we bought the house 7 years ago. We had originally just left loose screen until I finally found this dog door offer that we were able to wake up to the pet door and entry and it worked just like a charm. The only thing is that frogs and rodents can still get in on our porch and trying to figure out a way to maybe see if I can attach magnets to the bottom that will catch to the metal frame of the porch. Will update on that later if it works. I do recommend to buy this product as a pet door with replacement.

I made a winter cat habitat for half a dozen strays and this works perfectly to let in light, keep out cold wind, and allow access for the cats. It’s easy to trim to length, stays put in wind, and easy to install with a couple of screws. I added washers to the screws so as to prevent any possibility of the vinyl/plastic composite tearing!Highly recommended!

Works well but I have a small dog and I think the thickness of the flap deters him from wanted to go through it. Would be good for outdoor use i suppose but I bought it to go from the garage to the inside of the house. Not for me, but it works well!

We got this pet door to deter our dog from getting in the litter box. The material was thick enough, but the magnets were not strong enough to keep the barrier in place. We had to nail the barrier to the outside of the litter box entry. While it fit well, it was difficult to keep it in place. We ended up buying a different litter box with a higher entry so the dog could not reach it.

I used this plastic to create a smaller flap for my outdoor cathouse. It was a bear to cut out...but I did it!

Bought this after we built our dog house for the dogs to go through the hole in the doghouse. Works just as intended. Keeps the warm air inside the dog house and the dogs have no problem, pushing it to get through it. It looks nice and is worth the money.

Bought this for an outdoor cat house I built for the local strays, it's pretty heavy duty so it does a great job of blocking the wind and rain/snow. The cats are a bit scared of it when it's closed so it took some time to get used to it, I had to prop it up onto the ceiling of the house so they'd go in but it's still good to have when it gets cold
