Night Latch Lock Zinc Cylinder with Latch Bolt Gold Finish

I bought the SUMBIN Rim Night Latch for Front Door Black Color to replace the lock on my garage entry door. While it's a perfect match in style, it is a little smaller and the screws didn't line up. It was off just enough that making new holes wouldn't work. Not wanting to have to go through the process of moving the lock I just used the cylinder to replace the old, damaged one. Worked perfectly! The lock in whole seems sturdy and solid enough to do it's job. Well worth the price considering just a cylinder was only a few dollars less.

Just what I needed to help me with a lock problem on some patio doors. I remember using one like this as a kid on our back door and it always worked flawlessly. Easy instructions and with little mechanical or carpentry skills...........assembly was a snap. You have to remember locks ONLY stop the honest people..........the thieves will find a way in, no matter what lock you put on your doors.

Easy to install, works well to lock and unlock.

I was thankfully able to install it with only one hiccup. The snap off screws that are included are extremely difficult to cut. I had to take them to home depot where i planned to just purchase screws that were the size I needed. But thankfull someone there was able to just help me cut the screws. Anyways the over all lock works well and replaced my vintage lock of the same sort easily. This one was only marginally smaller than the older one.

It’s been used, had paint on it, once you unlock it with the key, the doesn’t come out, it’s defective, and is missing screws!!

Bought this night latch to replace one on a back door where we had replaced the original a few years ago. This went on fine in the existing spot on the door. Knob on lock works fine, but I don't trust the latch to hold it unlocked at all. Doesn't seem to work on mine. Not a deal breaker for me, but might be for others. Keys are tough to use at first on the lock. No resistance, just that it's new parts. After some uses, it gets much easier to unlock with the key. Overall decent value. Hope this one lasts longer than our previous one. Time will tell.

Our house originally had one of these but no key so I looked for the same one and it’s was such an easy install! This door lock is great and sturdy but be careful you may lock yourself out if you don’t carry a key with you!

I recently moved into a 100-year-old house with carriage-style garage doors. Not new doors made to look old, but the originals. One of the doors had this exact style of latch that we did not have a key for and it was in need of replacement. This latch was so close to the old one, I did ZERO drilling, it was plug-and-play easy! Seems of decent quality but time will tell. I will be ordering another for one of the other carriage doors.

The lock set arrived in a box that had clearly been opened and resealed. It’s missing the collar for around the cylinder to hold it flush to the door. Had to return as I could not get the replacement part.
