This is very sweet like cinnamon candy with a little heat, more than actual Ceylon cinnamon spice. I may try a cinnamon stick in the bottle to see if that is noticeable in the taste. It's delicious, but not sure I will buy again, as sprinkling the spice on the ground coffee before brewing is also very tasty.

We've bought this item several times, and it's consistently excellent. The cinnamon is spicy but not too hot, and it doesn't taste artificial or cloying.

The cinnamon flavor is not as great as in other syrups of this kind.

Cinnamon is my favorite addition to my coffee and hot chocolate over the cold winter months. MONIN is a thick syrup with lots of flavor. After trying many other brands, I have settled on this one as the best.

It smells like cinnamon. It tastes like cinnamon. But it’s not cinnamony enough. It’s like the weak overly sweet relative of cinnamon. I wanted a punch of cinnamon and got more like a glancing blow.
