Crockery Gourmet Seasoning Mix for Beef, 2.5-Ounce Packets (Pack of 12)

These are great for the slow cooker use. Add these for a great tasting meal. With vegetables added you have an all around easy to make meal.

Once I got a nine liter pressure cooker, I gave up the crock pot. This seasoning, like all crock pot seasoning can be used in the pressure cooker and meat takes 30 minutes not 8 hours. This is a great seasoning. I think in the crock pot, it needs 2.5 cups of water instead of 2 but that's all I would change. I make deer roast, from frozen 15 minutes full pressure after browning meat plus onions usually. Then add potatoes and carrots and 13 more minutes at full pressure. Deer tenderloin, fry diced onions, brown the tenderloin, put in potatoes carrots and seasoning. 13-14 minutes at full pressure. Very rich and delicious, makes excellent stew. I stocked up at Amazon due to the price and not wanting to run out in case I forget some at the grocery store.

This is a great product, especially for cheap pieces of meat. I start it the night before on low and when I get home from work the next day, it is awesome. You can add the vegetables you like and the taste is great. It has a little salty taste, but not too much (especially if you add quartered potatoes. I had a packet from a sale in my cupboard. It was a few years old and made stuff really salty, but the fresher packets that I ordered were much better. No need to chop up the meat if you buy a big cheap chunk. It will fall apart when you finish cooking it. My husband and son love it and they are very picky eaters.

Have been using this brand of seasoning for several years, beef, chicken & bbq. Fantastic stew baked or even gravy for each. The only problem is that the left overs and you will have unless you have a large family. For the two of us, wife and myself, there are leftovers. The sodium after a couple of days in the seasoning kinds gets rather salty tasting. Otherwise, no problem, I have used the bbg only once and no more. Did not like. Both the beef and chicken turns out a fantastic dinner. Try all, you will like them.!!!!!

Preparation could not be easier. The flavor was wonderful. My son who almost never salts anything found it a bit salty for him. My Mom who should not eat salt said she thought it was a bit salty too.

I really like this seasoning. It is super easy to use for crock pot beef stew. I usually put a lot of veggies in my stew so i tend to use one and a half packets per stew. This is very flavorful. I have a hard time finding in any stores around me so when i saw these i grabbed them. I now have enough for quite a few stews.

My wife found these on Amazon. They use to be found in grocery stores. Walmart had them off and on. But they disappereared from all our local stores. She found these and ordered them. Hopefully it's not the last of them. This makes a great pot roast in a crock pot. We put it together before we leave to work and 10 hours later dinner is waiting and it is great.

Apparently the Kroger owned stores have discontinued this. For a slow cooker. You add water to the powder, mix it up, add meat and vegetables and 4 to 8 hours later, you get a roast with plenty of gravy. Time depends on the temperature of your slow cooker I use a cooking bag in the crock which makes for easy cleanup
