I ordered this because the description sounded like what I desperately needed to strip the hard water and mineral residue out of my hair AND FOR THE PRICE. 16 ounces for less than $8 sounded very reasonable, as long as it worked. I ordered it and then decided to read the reviews. Backwards, I know! But, it just happened that way because it sounded like what I needed and the price was very fair. I was disappointed in some of the reviews and hoped I wouldn’t regret my purchase. I used it tonight for the first time. First thing I noticed was refreshing, almost spa like scent. So far, so good. Next, like some reviews made mention of, the consistency is a tad, and ONLY a tad on the thin side. And, it takes probably about 3 times the amount of normal shampoo to really cover my hair and with that amount, it really did lather well, considering the amount used to do so. But, you only need to use a clarifying shampoo occasionally. So, who cares! This bottle will last me 6 months or a year depending on how infrequently I’ll need to use it. But, the number one thing I got out of it is - it worked better than I could even imagine! I had actually begun to think my hair would never be clean and feel like ‘my hair’ again, instead of gooped up frizzed out nastiness! THIS NOT ONLY WORKS, but it smells so fresh and I couldn’t be happier, especially for less than $8!! Yes, you’ll need to use more to get a good lather, but it’s worth it. I just kept pumping more of it in my hand and adding it in until it reached a level of lather to cover all of my hair, which is fairly long, and I could feel the difference as soon as I rinsed it out. My hair no longer felt coated with crap! I love this product! ❤️

I like it. It dries out my hair so I know it's very clarifying. 4b-4c hair here. It does not contain protein. My hair has also never been so shiny so I know this stuff works!! Gave it 4 stars because its pretty drying and should not be used often, at least for my hair. It also did break out some, BUT I used it 3 times in one wash day and focused on hair more than scalp, so probably my fault (see below for update on 4/7/2020). RENPURE has always been a good company and trustworthy. Would recommend especially for people who tend to have very oily hair. However, if you have a hair type like me, be careful with how much you use. Would recommend to use it maybe once a month. Once every two months maybe. There is a lot in the bottle so itll last you well over a year if done right. Good price as well. EDIT: 4/7/2020 So it turns out the breakage was from me not trimming my hair and the California weather, NOT this product.

I thought I was buying the body wash. This works just as well, I wonder if they aren't the same!

The scent was amazing but I won't be buying it again sadly. I purchased this after a Youtuber I like recommended it but I really dislike it & will be going back to my Herbal Essence I guess.... It feels like it actually makes my hair more greasy then my old shampoo, its thinner and has a hard time getting a lather, I feel like I have to use more because it just disappears in my hair. I've already thought multiple times about not even finishing the bottle :(

I use this as a body was more than shampoo and it's very satisfying on my skin. Used now for last 8 years. Repeat customer and am happy and satisfied. I have sensitive skin.

It lathers really well with not having to use too much and really cleans my hair well. It feels like it works almost like a clarifying shampoo in that it removes build up. My hair is so soft afterwards and it's a great value for the money. 10/10.

Like others have said, it is runny and I have to use a lot to get any lather. Smells ok, but will not buy again

Was pretty upset when I was going over ingredients! Rapeseed oil… Are you kidding? Oviously people getting a shampoo like this is trying to detoxifi. Rapeseed oil , Canola oil is a poison. Ask Dr. Berg . Wow
