This is it!
I'll start by saying that I am very rough on shoes. Department store shoes normally last me 3 or so months before there are holes in the side of them, and or rubber bumpers peeling off. I have now had these just shy of a year, and they are in great shape (minus the abuse I inflicted on them) I work as a diesel tech, and I'm on my feet for 12+ hours a day on concrete. These shoes are very comfortable! Some days I wear them for 16 hours and my feet still dont hurt! I really like the lace retention device they use (I did break on off... but that was from a giant log that nearly smashed my foot.) They provide a very positive lock to keep your shoes tied all day. I did upgrade my laces to some kevlar ones because of the welding and torch splatter that eventually burnt holes through the laces. The rubber on the toes are holding up great compared to the dozen other shoes I've had, nothing is peeling away from being on my knees working on concrete. Pros and cons PROS Fits as expected, very durable, winter time warmth is pretty good (working outside in 25 F to 30 F degrees my feet stayed warm), Summer time breathability is great (your feet still sweat, but they aren't over heated), lace retention device's are great, Super comfortable, Oil resistant, tread lasts a long time, steel toe is in a good spot for kneeling down. CONS If they came with kevlar laces that would be the cats meow, I can't complain about anything else. In short I will be a loyal customer now that I've seen the immense quality of these boots! To often you dont get what you pay for, but I can tell you that these boots are defiantly worth 200$! I will not hesitate to buy these boots once mine wear out!

Favorite boot ever
I bought my first pair of these in 2011. I used them until 2021 and gave them to my little brother when he started his first gig. They were as comfortable as a good tennis shoe till the last day. I tried their grey and black ones. Forget the model. But those things hurt. Should have sent them back. These are like a good hiker compared to a work boot. I’ll update if the new ones are trash

So far so good - Update after one year
Update: After a year of daily wear, I'm pleased to report that these work boots have held up exceptionally well. They continue to provide the same comfort and support that I initially praised. I've been using them at the power plant, where I walk on gravel, asphalt, and frequently climb stairs and ladders, and they've consistently offered a great sense of security. Regarding the minor issue with the laces coming undone easily, it seems that with more wear and usage, they have improved and now stay tight for longer periods. Additionally, the sole has proven to be durable, even through the cold months. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend these work boots. They have exceeded my expectations and have proven to be a reliable choice for daily use in demanding environments. Original review: I like how comfortable the work boots are. They have great support and are easy to fit into. I have been using it for about 2 weeks at the power plant and they have been holding up pretty well. I walk around on gravel, asphalt and go up stairs as well as ladders and they offer great support and good sense of security. I will update after 1 year which is the minimum I expect I this price point. One minor issue are the laces that tend to come undone easily. Maybe with more wear they will hold tight longer. Also, because of how little use I have given them, I’m not sure how the sole is gonna hold up, especially with the cold months coming soon. As I mentioned before, I will update once those concerns are addressed.

Great boots right out of the box. Will have to see how they hold up.
UPDATE- After one year of use, I have to say these boots have served me well. They look pretty worn out and the soles are starting to disintegrate, but they still serve their purpose. See the additional pictures I just added. I did absolutely nothing to care for these boots over the past 12 months. I wore them most days working on residential construction sites doing everything from framing to digging ditches. They got muddy, they got wet, they got concrete all over them, all I ever did was rinse them off. Summer in Texas is hot, and these boots are not the coolest. I wear synthetic breathable socks and my feet were hot. I had to pull the insoles each night and let the boots air out. They were not always dry the next morning. If the soles weren't disintegrating, they would probably last another year. I will likely replace these in the next two months. May or may not buy another pair. I got these boots to wear while working. I primarily work on residential construction sites. My work consists of general carpentry, framing, and lot clearing. I spent the first two days in these boots clearing brush and trees. Lots of time on my feet and knees. The boots felt very good without any break-in. By the end of the second day, I was noticing some rubbing on my lower shin and ankle but it was minimal. My only complaint is that the protective rubber toe cover got a decent nick in the short amount of time I used them. Attached are photos after two days of hard use without any wipedown. When I ordered these boots, I also ordered the Timberland Pro Titan 6" Waterproof Boots. The Keens had a wider toe space and looked like a better made boot. Also, the "hiker" style suited me better. The Keens are heavier than the Timberlands, but I decided based on the other factors that wasn't an issue for me.

Keen Utility Pittsburgh ST Boots
I bought these Keen Pittsburgh boots for their steel toe ASTM F2413-11 M I/75 C/75 EH rating with oil and slip resistance, as it is a requirement for my job. I also wanted something waterproof, and more on the warm side, as I am out on the streets of the South Bronx every day. I work in every weather condition and temps above 100 F down to sub zero. I walk on every kind of surface under the sun, outside and in. My job also takes me through every kind of businesse, basement, greasy kitchen, factory, warehouse, shop, you name it. The boots are rugged and hefty, yet they feel light when walking in them. There are a lot of reviews out there that say their boots are the most comfortable they have ever worn, but seriously, these boots are really, really comfortable. I'm used to going through a period of time with other brands where I accept that my feet and ankles are going to go through the pain of breaking in a new pair of boots. Not with these! I don't feel like I'm wearing steel toe work boots at all. I feel like I'm cheating the system somehow! The comfort of the boots seems to have a lot to do with the material used for the top center (under the laces) and tongue. It is a reinforced synthetic fabric with very good padding, rather than a hard stiff leather tongue. I also love how the tongue is not a separate piece from the body of the boot. It keeps the boot sealed from anything getting in. The tops of the boots above the ankles have good thick padding that make the boots feel like they're giving you a big firm warm hug. There is also a thinner padding in the lining throughout the rest of the boot that works for both comfort and insulation. All that goodness on the inside, and bad ass ruggedness on the outside. Quality, tough, materials. Double stitching all over the boot. I didn't find a single frayed or hanging thread. The leather is tough, but almost has a slight suede to it. If you run your finger across it, you can feel the leather is actually infused with a waterproof substance. It almost feels kind of like a light wax. The metal lace rings and hooks are something that will hold up after time. The top hooks are locking and hold the laces at the tension you pull them. I was a little concerned about having the one fabric lace strap between the lower lace rings and upper hooks, but to my surprise there is a hard plastic sleeve inside the end of the strap where the lace goes through (see picture). This will keep the laces from wearing through the strap. Also, all the fabric straps on the boot have a reflective material in them, which helps with high visibility at night, or bad weather. The tread is good and grippy, the lugs are nice and beefy but not cumbersome. The front of the sole angles up a little at the toes which works really well with your natural walking motions to actually help propel you a bit. I actually end up using less effort to walk! Last but not least, these boots just look friggin good. I love the style and the color. And if you don't like one color, Keen makes these in five different colors. All in all, these boots have exceeded all of my expectations. I couldn't be happier.

I love Keen shoes and their work boots are top of ...
I love Keen shoes and their work boots are top of the line in my opinion. My husband works 12-16 hours a day in water and on concrete. He also has severe flat feet so finding boots that dont have a high arch and give him foot pain is always a pain. He has worn Red Wings, Wolverine and a few other brands over the years and the last 2 years were all Wolverine but problem with those is the boots were completely worn out after 4-5 months so I wanted to get him something that would last longer. Ive always worn Keen shoes and boots for years and always thought they fit like a glove so I decided to try the Keen work boots for him. Now his feet are in love with these. They are light weight for a steel toe boot compared to other brands, they are waterproof as he stands in water all day with them, ( we just spray them every month as a precaution to keep them waterproof) , they dont hurt his feet, there is plenty of wiggle room in the toe box area which is most likely because Keen uses left and right formed steel toes versus just the standard generic straight steel toes that crunch your toes that many brands use, right out of the box they have that " worn in feeling" so no need to break them in or be afraid to wear them all day long on the first day and his hip and back are no longer having pains like they did with his other boots and these dont feel like a work boot, they have all the features of a rugged work boot with the feel of a hiker more than a work boot. I will be sticking with Keen work boots for now on. From experience in size my husband wears an 11 in sneakers and non steel toe shoes but I always get him an 11.5 ( and sometimes I get him wide because some brands the steel toe runs really narrow) just to compensate for the toe box and steel toe so whatever size you wear and feel comfortable in wearing steel toe get that size as they run true to whatever size you wear and if you wear standard width no need to buy wide in these as there is plenty of toe box room

Good Quality.
Water proof. The quality has improved a lot over the 8 years I've been buying Keen boots. Made in America.

Most comfortable boot ever.
Comfort and support are outstanding. I wear a 13 wide and these boots are ergonomic, eliminating a long break in. Literally, they are the most comfortable work boots I have ever worn. Among KEEN work boots, they are also the most comfortable. The laces are engineered to stay tied. They are truly waterproof. No rubbing or chafing issues. The “wide” option is very wide. A lot of padding. The only reason I did not give 5 stars, is that I am on my second pair in 3 years. After 2.5 years of use on the daily, on new construction jobsites, my first pair gave up. The soles began to separate from the upper. But I bought another pair. That should be a clear indication of how much I love them.

Most Comfortable Boot I Have Worn Yet.
Redwing Wing Shooter (Iron Worker) boots were great - didn't need to break them in, worked 12 and 14 hour days with no issues. I thought they were the best. Scarpa Zanskar GTX hiking boots, fit perfect - wore them out of the box and went backpacking for 4 days. Got one blister but whatever, it was a hell of a slog. I bought these boots to try them out versus my current Irish Setter ELY 83400 go to work boots. What a surprise! They are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. Not fit in a store, no previous experience with Keen - no real reason for trying them out other than I saw them a lot while working on a cruise ship. I have been wearing them for a month (*In fairness - every other day - for about 10 years I always have 2 pairs of boots on the go so never wearing the same boots day after day). No issues, standing up well - never been wet (other than sweat). I will update on durability in the future.
