I had not initially realised the nib is covered with a little waxy blob to stop the ink drying out - so you need to remove the little waxy blob then the ink flows smooth and bright. I love Bic pens, they are great quality, last ages and you can write comfortably for hours. These new gorgeous colours are delightful and the brightness has made me love Bic pens even more :) I would highly recommend them - they are fab pens that don't let you down and don't smudge - great stuff!

Bought these to get some more variety in my notes and desk-space, and the results are very nice. The colours and very vibrant and good for notes or journaling. Highly recommend for anyone who likes ballpoint pens.

Great colours, it's very hard for me to find brown ballpoint pens for my art, and these ones are good. Some of the colours don't match the colour of their caps very well, but they are nice colours anyway. The only problem is they often splat a blob of ink as I draw with them which is very annoying especially when I'm trying to do delicate shading.

You can't beat a bic biro. So excited to see this range of colours. Great pens, smooth writing writing fab range of colours. Absolutely love them them already bought more as presents for people. Like normal bic biros they last for ages !!

Really like these pens, they make your writing look so much neater. They’re easy to hold and are really nice colours. The only thing I’d say is that they run out fairly quickly, other than that they are excellent pens and I will definitely be buying again!

I love these gel pens, they write smoothly and they remind me of my school days when I underlined everything with coloured gel pens 😬 the only thing I found was I thought they didn’t work at first but each one has a very small bit of wax covering each nib that you have to pull off, presumably to stop them drying out. Good value for money

Colors close to cap. Works just as you expect a Bic to preform. No buildup at ball.

A bit pricey as ordered compared to the Bic color variety packs you may find at the stores. However to my satisfaction there are no duplicate colors in the set, which makes them more useful for ballpoint art. The thing in particular is that this set has the colors that are generally hard to find from Bic otherwise. (Brown, yellow, orange, straw/gold, red-orange.) The Bic sets found at most retail stores often have dupes of the other colors, which limits what you can do with them. Also because they're more semi-opaque than translucent, you need more of the secondary colors to achieve a more complete color range gradient. And they're different than gel when it comes to drawing because you can do subtle shading by lightly putting down the gum-based ink vs. the full saturated color that gel pens typically put to the paper. (Draws more like a pencil, but still it's own thing. If you do art with these, I think you'll get what I mean.)
