Delightful, healthful tea!
I have found that the Eden Sencha Green Tea is the most pleasant tasting green tea I've ever tried. I drink 2 cups each day, one early in the morning, and one at mid-morning or noon. Since it does contain caffeine, I don't drink it in the late afternoon or evening. Green tea has many health benefits! If you are sick, it helps you get well, and if you are well, it helps you stay well.

Great product!
Now that I am through my third box of Eden Sencha Uchiyama tea, I can attest that this is a great product. I have been looking for this particular type of tea for years in a packet. In the hierarchy of tea this is the pinnacle. From my reading on teas, I have deduced the following levels of potency of polyphenols (lowest to highest): most brown teas, china green teas, darjeeling teas, matcha green tea, sencha green teas, sencha uchiyama green teas. Dr Richard Beliveau wrote about this in his excellent book "Foods to Fight Cancer." Uchiyama is a prefecture in the western mountains of Japan where the sencha tea is grown. It is like the Napa Valley of tea growing. I like strong tea, so I steep mine for 10 minutes in almost-boiling water. I love the flavor! Most afficiandos feel that four minutes of steeping is sufficient. I do drink 4-6 cups of the tea a day. Much, much lower in caffeine that my previous coffee habit. No heart rate acceleration, no jitters, reduced anxiety. I highly recommend the product!

Sencha Tea
This tea is described as replacing "Bancha", also by Eden. It is good, a little more colorful in the cup, but less delicate as I remember Bancha. I have found that letting the water sit for 2 minutes after boiling, and steeping for no more than 4 minutes makes a great cup! Will buy more.
