This concertina is easy to play.

Good but missing some expected features.
Very similar in appearance to the Scarlatti; same factory? Reeds are pretty close to expected pitch - within 3 to 6 cents (hundredths of a semitone) of expected. All pitches are slightly sharp which might suggest they have all been tuned outside of the instrument. The instrument is not completely airtight which is possibly expected for this price. There are two missing reeds from what would be usual. These are the very high F# on the G treble row and the B flat - I think - on the bass accidentals row. Both of these are normally found are on the draw. I cannot say whether this is deliberate, because, and this is my main criticism, there was absolutely no literature supplied with the instrument. The two missing? reeds are rarely used and would probably not be much missed by a learner. The instrument plays well and is responsive. I have found no sticking buttons. The instrument has a pleasing ‘rustic’ appearance and comes with a nice padded gig bag. Overall the instrument is not a bad buy for a learner. ( I bought this directly from G4M.)

Good concertina for a beginer very compact .and definately a good price .very similar to a certain makeŕ of concertinas in ireland ? .but at a cheaper price .maybe different reeds

Good value for money...
... But:1. The straps are very skinny - I will probably replace them with more substantial ones.2. Not very airtight, so needs a lot of bellows movement3. Low C is quite slow to react4. Soft case supplied is not practical. Strain on the bellows removing the instrument is not goodDelivery fron Gear4Music was swift and item was well-packaged
