Super Tough 20ft Heavy Duty USA-Made Bronze Anodized Aluminum Flagpole

I wanted a sturdy 25 foot flag pole for my windy location and this one has 11 gauge sidewalls. the top most section tapers to one and 7/8 inches. The 24" sleeve for the base is a standard 3 inch irrigation pipe. I assembled it on the ground and three sturdy friends stood it up in the fight base. I chose to make the hole about 2 1/2 feet deep and 2 feet wide and used 500 pounds of concrete. It wiggles a bit in the wind but it's not going anywhere. I put the 5 x 8 flag on it versus a 4 x 6 but it looks appropriately sized given its 23 foot rise above the ground. Long may she wave!

Im 24 years old and i bought my house about a year and a half ago. The one thing i wanted to do since i purchased my beautiful home sitting on my 10 acres was to install a flagpole. When i began my search about 6 months ago, i wanted to find a pole that fit me and my setting the best. I looked at many different companies and brands of poles. After my long and stressful search, i decided to purchase this pole. It had many good reviews to start,also the quality is very good in my opinion. I wanted something very strong, due to the high winds i receive here, i believe this pole will hold up very nicely! I dug my hole exactly the same depth as the length of the included sleeve. I also built a small form, i didn't want that big of a piece of concrete in my lawn so i went with a nice square 18''x18''. I pour concrete for a living so when i came to pouring the concrete it was no big task. I actually ordered the concrete my our local redi mix plant which is delivered by a concrete truck. All said and done i used about a yard and a half of concrete, which is probably equivalent to 20 or so bags of Menards concrete. The sand used in between the sleeve and the pole itself i bought from Menards, the sleeve only took about a 1/4 of the bag. I also recommend buying a flashing to sit around the bottom of the pole to finish it off nicely. One was not included in my kit. Then i topped it off with a nice quality 4x6 flag from Annin Flagmakers, its there 2720 Model. The 4x6 flag really fit the pole nicely. Im extremely happy with how it all turned out, this pole should definitely last for years, so proud to be flying the flag!!! I will also be adding to this review after 6 months and a full year to give more feedback.

My wife and I just put this flag pole up. We bought the 25' brushed aluminum model. I had dug the hole and put the plastic tube in last week. We put it together using saw horses. It all slipped together without problem, nothing needed for lubrication. We were able to put it up together with little problem other than my wife being 4'11"! I highly recommend this flag pole. It is excellent quality, and looks great. Two suggestions: first, be careful of - have more than enough concrete. I dug an 18" hole 3.5' deep, and this took 6 80lb bags of premixed cement - 480lbs total. Second, when leveling the pole look at it from a distance before finalizing it. Make sure it matches a vertical part of your home - a corner or door trim - and is still level. That will make it look much better. If this is not possible, go with leveling the pole without regard how it looks next to your house.

Very well built, able to withstand stand consistent 35 mph winds with 3x5 flag. Great looks of a traditional flag pole.

This pole is well worth the extra money. It’s sturdy and I put it up myself but it would be easier as a 2 man job. Pole called for 12” x 24” hole which seemed shallow to me given I was flying a 4x6 flag with a 5lb weight. I went with 24” wide X 36” deep. Added 12” sleeve to existing 24” sleeve with a coupling. I used exactly 12 bags of 60lb concrete to fill the hole to grade. That flag is going nowhere down here in South Florida hurricane alley. I used Power Grip adhesive to secure the pieces together to help minimize to movement on the pole between the 5 connection points. That will limit you ability to take the pole sections back don easily but I don’t plan on taking it down ever. Th shipping box was damaged during delivery and the truck, rope, cleat, and ball were missing. Notified the seller and they immediately overnighted me the missing parts. That’s good customer service and made the purchase a positive experience.

The rope broke on the first day of flying. I reached out to the company to simply replace the rope, and they refuse. They told me I had to deal directly with Amazon. It was not their issue. Buyer beware bad product bad customer service.

This pole flys 2 flags, in strong prairie winds! Ive had it 8 years. Other poles i ordered broke, this one withstood ice storms that caused almost 2,000 power poles to fall.

The anodization appears uniform and the section junctions are well fit. However, one star off because the pole is not drilled and tapped for the cleat, the halyard is not a great quality rope, and the top ball isn't really any better than the cheap-o ones that come in very basic flagpole kits found at the home improvement stores. I expected better for the cost.
