Like others have said, there are pieces of plastic and other miscellaneous items in this soil. Stay away from their raised bed mix, also. It’s the same. Lots of rocks, pieces of plastic bags, and pieces of plastic and metal.

Do not use this! This potting soil is horrible and infested. I potted up about 7 plants with it and they all got pythium root rot. I'm not a prone overwaterer and my houseplants have never gotten root rot before using this. My house also became infested with fungus gnats in correlation with using this potting soil for the first time. The potting soil is sick. Dont use it! I dont want anyone else to lose a bunch of their beloved houseplants to this. Almost any other potting soil is better than this one.

Found several pieces of plastic, wire, metal, and glass in the bag of potting soil I purchased. I try to stay away from other big-name brands and go with the OMRI-listed soil, but this is seriously trash. I almost sliced my hand open with the pieces of thick broken glass in the bag I purchased. Stay away.

I bought this and as I was pouring it out, saw that various colors and pieces of plastic bags and many pieces of broken glass and plastic were also contained in my organic soil from Whitney Farms. I cut my thumb on it and called the local nursery. Gross!

I opened the bag to find the soil covered in mildew. There was no way I could plant any houseplants in that!
