Mighty Max Battery ML18-12 - 12V 18AH CB19-12 SLA AGM Rechargeable Deep Cycle Replacement Battery

I bought two of these to use in my kids' Power Wheels vehicles. The Power Wheels (a Jeep and a Mustang) were some yard sale "finds" - the vehicles were ok, but batteries were worn out. These Mighty Max batteries are a tight fit, but DO fit. No surprise, but to use them for this purpose, you need to do some minor, very basic wiring. If you are so inclined, I'd recommend you check YouTube for instructions. I chose these specific batteries for several reasons. The "nut-and-bolt" terminals allow for very secure connections to the battery. The provided dimensions told me they should fit. The sealed AGM format means they can be mounted safely in any direction. I liked that these are advertised for their long life and capacity to recover from a deep discharge. (I was concerned that my kids would run these past the point they "should" be stopped and recharged.) Also, these are 18 amp-hour batteries, almost double the 9.5 amp-hours for the Power Wheels factory batteries. That extra capacity means I probably won't see any deep discharges - in long play sessions, my kids barely made a dent in the charge (as indicated by how little time my Battery Tender charger took to recharge them.) For me, these were a great deal. Two batteries for about $70, plus a few dollars for wiring connectors and fuses; they have nearly double the capacity, and they now can be quickly connected to my Battery Tender. At the time, a factory Power Wheels battery was running about $60 (and I needed TWO). Thank you, Mighty Max! So far, so good! I expect to get a nice, long service life from these. VERY happy customer.

This review is for the MightMax 12v 18Ah AGM Deep Cycle Battery. The battery came protected in the box with bubble wrap. It came with 2 screws, 4 washers, 2 nut securing washers, and 2 nuts to secure ring terminals for the positive and negative terminals. Terminals are marked via color (red for positive and black for negative). It came with a 12.9v reading out of the box. My intention is to use this battery is to make a solar generator. I connected this battery to a charge controller and then solar panels to the charge controller. After some moderate use of a DC plug and USB port on the charge controller to test a DC LED light and charge my cell phone, the battery dropped down to 12.6v. The 18 watt solar panels charged the battery back up to 12.9v in a matter of minutes. I haven't let it charge to complete maximum voltage yet but I am happy with this battery so far and look forward to putting the entire kit together in a plastic ammo can to make a portable solar generator.

Apr 8 Arrived fast & safe Straight out of the box Just as pictured on Amazon Perfect static voltage 12.79v Mighty max ML 18 to the rescue. Replaced & Installed into my black & decker jump pack, air compressor & AC- converter. Air compressor fired up like new Jump pack producing 12.76v as pictured. AC- converter producing 117.8 ac as pictured. Restored my BD pack as good as new! Very good price Perfect group size I'm not sure why or how other reviewers. Recieved a defective or bait & switch battery. Possible scam customer returns?? The MM battery recieved is highly recommended. Absolutely a perfect battery. Will update after useage.. this BD jump pack will put this battery through the ultimate test. The original battery lasted 10 plus years. Aug 2025 still a perfect battery holding a charge like OE current 12.49v used multi times NO refresh charge.

I have been using this battery for over two years on a Ghost branded gate opener. This battery is slightly over-sized for the gate in total Ah rating. I did that because our Ghost gate is not powered except by this battery and a solar cell to recharge, and we can go a week somtimes without a good sunny day here where we live in the NorthWest during the winter months. This battery has been going strong for over two years and I have not had any problems with it. For the price I think it is an excellent value.

Works perfect with the Champion WheelyBird Auto-Feed Trap, and I would assume all other automatic clay throwers. All day battery life, in a pretty small package. Much easier to use, lighter, and smaller than a 'regular' car battery for this purpose. It's probably only 15lbs (6.8kg) and it's only 7 inches wide, 7 inches tall, and 3 inches deep. This is the one to buy for a clay thrower! EDIT: 6 years later and it’s still perfect. Launched over 400 clays the other day of the course of 4 hours or so, and it seemed to still have way more life in it. Buy this one for your clay throwers!

This battery has a larger capacity than the original & yet fits into the case perfectly. The battery charged quickly and has stayed fully charged for a while now, so I think it is a 100% improvement over the old battery that would not hold a charge for more than a day . Happy with the purchase - a replacement jumpstart unit would be about 79$ and this was $36; I highly recommend going the battery replacement route as it only takes about 15 minutes to replace the battery yourself!

I use this battery to operate a portable sporting clay machine and it works very well. The charge lasts a long time a full day of operating the machine. Very happy with the purchase.

Purchased in 2021 still a string battery.

I replaced my 10 years old battery on my battery booster-air compressor. Working as new again.

Took out the old battery and substituted this exact clone. Moderate skill level, saved my $200 booster and like new output. Won't fit all boosters, check battery specifications first. Order the right amp/Hr. Volt type
