The ear pierce is viciously uncomfortable so it is not something you will use often but if you are like me and have an old radio and desire a retro looking crystal ear pierce to go along with it ...this maybe your best bet. I am only rating this product so high as it is most likely the last time anyone will be producing them as the sound is tinny and mono so younger people will most likely not buy them but for older people who used them back in the 70's and still have some vacumn tube radios and want that retro look this is probably the best we can get, would love to get an brand new crystal headset like I used to have.

Needed a high impedance ear phone for a crystal radio that I built. This is a perfect fit for this project, and I didn’t have to pay an arm and a leg for these.

These are too delicate. The ceramic insert is very thin and cracks from loud signals. I have had 2 of 4 totally die within a minute or too on a crystal radio.

It smells like Cinnamon. I don't know why. But I love the smell and it was a great price. What more could you ask? 5 stars!

I bought these to use on a crystal radio. No luck. Other high impedance magnetic headphones worked just fine but these allegedly 'sensitive' earphones are useless, no sound at all!

If you're helping your kids out with any kind of electronics projects is a great way to teach them about speakers and also build really easy am radios
