Clip-on Flip Up Polarized Sunglasses Rimless Over Prescription Glasses for Men Women

I needed a good pair of night driving clip-ons to go over my prescription glasses. These fit the bill. The one problem I've had with clip-ons in the past was the "hardware" to clip onto my glasses ended up annoying my skin as it would tend to scratch it. These don't do that. It does add some weight to the glasses, but any clip-on would do that. They are light--I don't know how they compare with other clip-ons--and so are manageable in that department. I also like that they can flip open, like for when I go to the store. I don't have to wonder where I put them. Then I can just flip them back down when I go back outside. They appear to be of good quality and do what night-vision glasses should do: make night driving easier with less glare from oncoming headlights and traffic lights. I also purchased the blue shades and they work real well for day time driving. The only thing I would add is that they are standard "dark" shades, it only appears blue from the outside. It doesn't make the world blue as you look through them. I would recommend these to anyone needing clip-ons at a reasonable price.

Wow! These fit my Ray Bans perfectly! I have the round metal 2620 style. All went well with the clip-on shades and I'm glad for a pair. One is for the home and one for my vehicle. Great product! Thanks!

I purchased these because I need my bifocals when driving, and my transition lenses just don't get dark enough in the car. I will have to say, the sunglasses work almost TOO well. They are so dark I have to flip them up to see certain gauges on the dashboard of the car. The polarization is great, and really do eliminate distant haze. So far they seem to be of decent quality. The holder, spring, and lenses are holding up well. I've been protecting the lenses and so far no major scratches. NEGATIVE My only complaint is that they cause my glasses to slide down my nose more frequently. My glasses do that already, even without the sunglasses attached. But now it's more often. I don't blame this on the sunglasses, but it's just food for though if debating on going with clip-on style. POSITIVES I do love the flip-up function. It's nice to flip them up without having to think much about it or take my eyes off the road. And the springs are tight enough that the glasses stay up -- they do not easily flip back down inadvertently. Clips are snug, and are not coming detached from the glasses until you are ready for them to. Getting 2 pair at a time allows me to have one in both of my vehicles, so that I don't have to remember to move the glasses from one to another. In summary, I love these glasses. If I purchase these again, I'm coming back to this brand. Although I probably will get a different tint that is not so dark.

These work really nicely for me. They’re small and easy to cayyy in a side pocket of my purse. They block just enough light.

A bit disappointed in these clip-on sunglasses. First of all, the "bridge" [which fits between the lenses, and holds the spring clip-on mechanism] is NOT stamped metal as shown in the photos. The bridge is plastic, a much more typical construction. Also, the bridge's thick plastic top-piece actually interferes with mounting the clip-ons; the sunglasses will fit higher than normal [unless you trim back the plastic a bit, which is easy to do]. Secondly, the flip up/down function was weak on one of the clip-ons I received. The sunglasses didn't "snap" down--they had to be guided down with constant pressure. The other sunglass flip mechanism worked well, as expected. On the plus side, the sunglasses are optically clear with no distortion, and a good value [particularly if you only want dark lenses].

My husband and I needed clip-on, flip-up sunglass covers for our reading and driving glasses and these work great. The hardware that rests in the middle of the sunglasses is a little clunky, but for what we needed these for, it’s not an issue. Would recommend. Also nice that we get two pairs per order.

Intro: I tend to only write reviews when a product defies my expectations or fails to meet my reasonable expectations of a functional product. I know full well that the quality of the materials may suffer at the expense of a cheap price, but I don't believe a cheaper product should have significant design or functional flaws. This pair of clip-on glasses indeed had a functional flaw. Disclaimer: I cannot speak for all Splaks products, just the specific item I received. Long story short: As can be seen in the image, the lenses were adhered to the clip/bridge unevenly. The result is one lens will stick up noticeably higher than the other, making the glasses look extremely crooked. This has nothing to do with how the lenses were clipped to my frames. Analysis: In the attached image, I included a straight-edge line that is parallel to the bridge line. The left lenses on BOTH pairs of clip-on's sits higher above the line than those on the right side. I have owned a handful of other types of clip-on lenses and although the materials were always as cheap, they were never crooked. This is not a question of camera angle but of geometry. It is harder to see, but the reason for the crooked lenses is that they aren't riveted/glued to the bridge in the exact same position. This is the result. If there is any pushback on this review, I will provide actual measurements of the offset joining of bridge and lens. My two cents: There were various red flags that I neglected to take into consideration before purchasing this product. I knew I was getting a cheap product but they looked fine in the images. Amazon says I am reviewing rectangular frames, which I am not. This is likely the fault of the vendor, but it adds uncertainty to the whole purchasing process. I always read reviews to find the cheapest but most reliable product. I regret not doing that, but parsing through the morass of fake reviews is often infuriating and unhelpful. I hope this review finds the myopic eyes of a more careful consumer. Find a higher quality, but likely more expensive, product. I've been looking for flip-up night vision glasses that would fit my frames for a few years in stores and was always disappointed. I was so excited when I found these Splacks on Amazon, and I thought the price was amazing. It was easy to find the proper fit for my glasses. That fact the there were two for the price was outstanding. They came in a nice sturdy box, and each one had an extra little cap that fits on the clip in case one falls off. That was great. No more losing loose glasses. They each came in a zip lock plastic bag that was perfect for the size. I did buy a glass case for caring them in the car. Now that I found them, I don't want them damaged. I only gave them 4 stars for night vision. It definitely is great for seeing better, but there is a bit of halo which I think in really just my cataracts. Probably unfair to only give 4 stars, but I'm not sure how clear it would be without the cataracts. A great product.

Excelente producto muy práctico y de buena calidad

I found them very helpful when driving. The dark lens helped at dusk when the sun was low in the sky and the yellow really cut down on the glare from those awful LED headlights. They clip on easily and are light weight. Very handy and look decent!
