This natural bar soap is absolutely fantastic! I’ve purchased it multiple times now, and it has never disappointed. The quality is consistent with every bar — it lathers well, cleans thoroughly, and leaves my skin feeling fresh without any dryness. I really appreciate that it’s made with natural ingredients, and the scent is clean and refreshing without being overpowering. It lasts a good amount of time, making it a great value as well. I like this bar soap. It lathers, cleans, and rinses effectively and does not dry out my skin. It exfoliates lightly. It's a decent size and shape bar that makes it convenient and easy to use. The package count is a reasonable 3 bars and the packaging in minimal. Its a well made bar of soap. And its plant based and natural. The scent smells great and is subtle and not perfumy. I'm a guy and this soap is great for me. I have long been on a quest to find a bar soap that doesn't dry out my skin and has a scent for a guy without being a stupid scent like burned wood, leather, tobacco, etc. Plus the bar shouldn't be so big and heavy that its difficult to use, to store, or breaks your foot if you drop it. I also don't want to have to buy 12 bars at once nor should it be super expensive. Plus has to be natural and biodegradable. I found a brand and bar that did all that and used for a number of years, but then they stopped making it. So, I went on a new quest of many different bar soaps and when I found this one, it checked all the boxes and expect it will be my new ongoing bar soap for years to come.

I did like this soap, granted the whole box of three individual soaps did not last so long. It probably lasted me less than a month and I was the only one using the bars. It smells nice, very relaxing very spa quality was moisturizing. Didn’t cause any damage to my skin barrier.

Amazing high quality soap! Never any skin irritation, just clean. I purchase one (three pack) box of these and they last me a year! 3rd year buying my purchase in January... I love the smell. Truly a clean patchouli smell that lasts. No need to look any further for your soapy needs.

I absolutely love this soap! It has a lovely scent but it’s not overpowering. Unlike my previous bodywashes, this soap rinses quickly and I, myself, feel squeaky clean. I bought some of these soaps as gifts, too. Everyone seems to love them. I thought the price was reasonable, too.

I have been trying out various brands of gentle soaps and this was one of the few I have been happy with. After ordering two different, disappointing Castille (olive oil based) soaps from Greece that smelled heavily of chemicals, the very thing I am trying to avoid, I turned back to this one. The ingredients include more than olive oil. It has a mild pleasant smell—not added aroma, just the clean soap smell— and it is gentle on my skin. It is a relief to find something I can use when so many soaps irritate my skin and cause slow-healing rashes. When I have time, I like to make soap. I know the difference between the normal smells of saponification with basic ingredients and most other soap products available on the market. That’s one of the reasons I like this soap. I can use it with confidence when I’ve run out of my own and life is too busy to make more.

Let me just get this out of the way now the soap itself smells decent, nothing wrong there. I only wish I got another cent. Not that this one smells bad it’s just it wasn’t my cup of tea. I’m mostly disappointed about the size because I’ve been through this before. The soaps themselves are not big enough to fill out the box as you can spot in some of the pictures and video. I honestly feel like the soap size was different in the pictures of the customer reviews that I saw. Each bar may last me a week and a half and that’s with a soap saver. To be honest, the box that it came in would fit two decent size soaps if they filled out the box.

Great quality in cleaning without stripping my skin to be very dry. Love the patchouli fragrance as is has a very calming smell and does not trigger my allergies as most fragrances do. For daily users , a bar will last about a month depending on how long you shower. I highly recommend this product.

I ordered the 3 pack of soap from Crate 61 , and I’m honestly blown away by how good it is. The scent is clean and natural without being overpowering, and the lather feels rich and gentle on my skin. It leaves me feeling fresh, soft, and moisturized ... no residue, no irritation, just a really beautiful, handcrafted Canadian 🇨🇦 product ✅ You can tell they put care into their ingredients and process. Even the packaging felt intentional and high quality. If you’re debating whether to try it, *just buy it*. I’m so glad I did. I love discoveringbusinesses that actually deliver on their promise, and this one absolutely does. I’ll definitely be trying more of their products!

So, there are some ups and downs here but the downs are really what you should expect when you buy natural/organic soaps. Firstly, being made almost entirely from saponified fats (this is a long and complicated bracket - fats are turned into soap and alcohol by action of heat in the presence of aqueous alkali, making them effective cleansers and able to foam... you could do this yourself at home quite easily) these soaps will leave a pretty grotty residue on the sides of your bath (if you've ever used African black soap you will know what I mean). Unlike other soaps which will mix with water more easily, sap fat soaps will cause a scum on the surface of the water which will attract skin cells and the like, forming a crust around the water line. Unless you want to clean your bath more often - only use these in the shower to avoid the scum building up or rinse thoroughly! The second thing to consider is that for the same reason as above, these soaps direly need to be kept dry when not in use. If you leave them in a damp shower bowl they will not last half as long as a bar of standard anti-bacterial soap. Aside from that, I have little else to say. Being from Canada, I don't think the lavender smell is quite as strong as true English lavender or even French but the smell is evident and very pleasant. There is also a minimal amount of texture to the soap so when used directly on the body they have a mild exfoliating effect. These bars foam extremely well for what they are. 7.5/10.

This is my favourite soap! It’s great for acne and has really helped me clear acne on face and body.
