Only Food That Works for My Cat’s Sensitive Stomach!
I can’t say enough good things about this Taste of the Wild Canyon River cat food. My cat has always had a very sensitive stomach, and finding a food that doesn’t cause issues has been a long and frustrating process. Thankfully, this is the one that finally worked.Since switching to this formula, my cat has had no stomach upset at all—no more digestive issues, which has been such a relief. It’s the only food I’ve found that consistently agrees with them, and that alone makes it worth every penny.Beyond that, my cat actually enjoys eating it, which isn’t always the case with sensitive-stomach foods. The ingredients also give me peace of mind—it feels like a higher-quality option compared to many other brands I’ve tried. The kibble size is good, and the bag stays fresh. Overall, it’s been a game-changer for us. If you have a cat with stomach sensitivities, I would absolutely recommend giving this a try—it’s been a five-star product in our household!

Excellent Long-Term Food with Great Coat Quality
My Savannah and Bengal cats have been eating this food for years, and it has consistently been an excellent staple in their diet. Their coats are incredibly soft, they maintain great energy levels, and overall they’ve stayed very healthy with very few vet visits over the years. The trout and smoked salmon formula seems to agree with them very well, and they’ve never gotten tired of eating it. I also appreciate that the kibble size and texture work well for daily feeding. In my case, I do supplement with quality wet food and vitamins as part of a balanced diet, but this kibble has absolutely been at the foundation of their nutrition.Overall, Taste of the Wild has been a reliable, high-quality food that has delivered consistently great results for my cats over the long term.

Great Food! Only Thing Cat Will Eat!
Taste of the Wild is the only think my cat will eat that doesn't bug his bowels besides fresh fish/meat and rice cakes. He wouldn't even eat a dried minnow treat I tried once that all the neighborhood strays gobbled up and begged for, so it must taste good. Larger size is great and keeps the cost down. Can be left out all day for nibbling and free feeding without getting stale. Smells good. Nice size pellets. Blends nicely with Taste of the Wild wet food. My boy likes both available on his plate for his picking & choosing. Happy that it's healthy and not full of the junk flavors, colors, corn, and other junk ingredients most cat foods have. Keep it coming!

Shiny coats in one month
Got this food in a different flavor a month ago. My cats are very picky and at first there was no interest. So I rushed to get Trout and Salmon flavor as I really wanted them to switch to something healthy. Then in a day or so, since I wasn't giving them their regular food, I saw one of them nibbling from the plate. One cat had a soft stool. I kept giving them their favorite can food at the same time as I saw one cat started loosing weight. The new dry food was available all the time and I saw that its amount in the bowl was SLOWLY diminishing. After a month of them consuming this dry food (even though in small amounts as they never got super excited about it) I noticed that their skin condition improved and their dull coats became beautiful and shiny. The new flavor (Trout and Salmon) didn't make them super excited either. But since they prefer dry food and have no other choice they eat it. I'm giving this product 4 stars. Even though cats got shiny coats, this food is a bit expensive and none of my 3 cats really got very excited about either of 2 available flavors.

Excellent value for high-quality food
We've found taste of the wild to be the best value for the quality of the ingredients. My vet had my 12 lb cat on Science Diet W/D for weight loss her ENTIRE LIFE! Ten years she ate that junk, and I was none the wiser. Happily shelling out big buck for grains and filler on my vets orders. My cat never lost an ounce, despite the fact that she ate less than the recommended amount for a 10-lb cat because she completely hated the food. Also, as a friend pointed out to me when she watched the cat, she was generating a ridiculous amount of poop. (So not absorbing many nutrients.)A year ago, when my German Shepherd Puppy was struggling with allergies, I began researching dog nutrition and better dog food brands. As I discovered how horrible Hill's (Science Diet) is for dogs, I realized how horrible it also is for my poor cat. It is harder to find a good analysis for cat food than for dog food, but I moved her over to TOTW based on the premise that a company who values good nutrition in their dog line would likely do the same in their cat line. After moving to TOTW, my cat LOVES her new food. She loves that we can change the flavor and variety. I was afraid she would gorge herself but she still eats less than the recommended amount. She is slightly more energetic and lost one pound. (She's still a bit over weight, but at least she's happy.) She poops about half as much, even though she eats the same amount of food. She also drinks less water and pees less often. (But no sign of bladder issues before or after the change. I think the W/D was dehydrating her.) Her coat is softer, shinier, and drops less dander. That may be in part because the weight loss makes it easier for her to clean herself. She transitioned seamlessly, and we've never had any illness or behavioral issues in the year that she's been eating it. We travel full time now, and it's wonderful how readily available TOTW is across the country. It's at most of the big box feed stores, like Rural King, Tractor Supply, and Orchelins. Of course, we prefer the convenience of having it delivered to our door. Thanks Amazon! We may eventually decide to move her to Acana, which has a higher meat to veggie ratio, but it is significantly more expensive. TOTW is an awesome balance of price versus quality.

Excelente alimento

My cat loves it
Just got my first bag and switching from a walmart brand called pure balance. My cat seems to love this she usually doesn't care much for dry food in general but she ate huge mouthfuls of the pellets as they were perfect size for cat munching and now she's giving me a thank you purr!

Also alles super und gerne wieder.Es wurden sogar 2 kleine Fellmäuse gratis mitgeliefert.

This is perfect for cats with poultry allergy
It took me so long to discover that my cat has a poultry allergy. We had to deal with on and off diarrhea, many runs to the vet and only negative results. I tried special formulas for sensitive cats and she only got worse. Any dry or wet food that I tried was not working for her. I read a review here saying this solved a problem for a cat with poultry allergy and then I looked all the labels of all the different foods I've tried and all of them have chicken, duck or turkey. Food for sensitive cats are usually based in turkey, and that was the worse for her. I am writing this review to shed some light if you are having the same issue. I am so thankful for the review that I saw here. This food (Taste of the Wild Grain Free High Protein Real Meat Recipe Canyon River Premium Dry Cat Food) solved my problem and now my cat is happy and healthy, and I am paying less for it too. If you have the same problem, read the label, because they also have food that are not poultry free.

Paw of Approval
I buy both varieties of this on subscription because my cats seriously will not eat anything else! They are predominately outdoor cats and can be very fussy about dry food yet this is a winner. As a vet I wholly recommend it!
