Great on Legs
First time sugar waxing. It was easy to do on my legs! My leg hair was a little longer than recommended length... did great. Easy clean up. Pain was minimal/ very tolerable for legs. And Legs were hairless for two weeks after. I will be purchasing this again. However...I also tried it on my armpits. 🤦♀️ It was painful and didn't work. I was sore the next day. I thought maybe the hair isn't long enough. I waited a week and retried...even had my husband help me. It was comical. Still didn't work and was even more painful. If you have thin armpit hair maybe it'll work for you. 🤷♀️

Doesn’t Work. Waste of time and money
I don’t recommend this sugaring paste. It simply doesn’t work. I have experience with sugaring and know the technique well — I only bought this because my usual product was out of stock, so it’s definitely not a skill issue. The paste doesn’t remove hair effectively, no matter how I tried to use it. I ended up wasting both time and money on this product.

Tampered box - otherwise good product
My box was damaged and slightly open at the bottom, even though the shipping box was 100% fine. The instructions were also missing from the box... The product itself works okay. Definitely not as good as going to a professional, but still something I'd buy again. I tried using it on my legs but it was taking too long especially given that the wax did not remove all the hair. So, I had to reapply a few times. I ended up giving up and shaving. I then tried it on my face. I have a lot of peach fuzz and random course hair on my chin/neck. It did a great job at doing that. I've never found an at home wax that removes peach fuzz, only the salon could do it. But this did the trick. Overall, I think this is great for small areas of the body and will keep using it as my go-to face wax. I also like that it is easy to clean up. Even though it's messy, it washes away with water unlike regular wax.

Results last much longer than shaving and it's much less painful than epilation
First time attempting sugaring, on a few previous occasions I had tried to make sugaring paste from scratch and was never able to get the consistency just right, this premade paste comes ready to use and once you get the hang of it seems to last a long time. I made the mistake the first time of just applying the full area of the woven waxing strip on a sensitive area and immediately regretted that decision because it was too much to pull off in one go and required multiple attempts to get off cleanly (user error, would have benefied from smaller passes especially for that area.) After a few attempts the strips get covered with hair and become difficult to use. What I found easier was just using tight fitting nitrile gloves and having the paste spread between my pointer finger and thumb, this allows you to just pinch the hair in small portions and pull it out, once the wax is no longer tacky you can roll it off with the hair and reapply. Guys attempting a full Brazilian, word of advice: Go in smaller more manageable passes, apply sugar against hair growth, pull the skin taught, and then pull in the direction of hair growth. Otherwise you might end up with bruising, which does heal quickly but because of this you may want to attempt this a few days prior to the day you want to be smooth. Results last -much- longer than shaving but area may be tender immediately after, similar to a mild sunburn, all the more reason to give the downstairs area time to recover before putting it through its paces (or not, the masochist in me won't judge). Once you get the hang of it the process is easy and other than the smoothess the main benefit is it all washes off easily in the shower.

This stuff works.
I'm surprised this has low reviews and people saying it doesn't work. The sugar wax definitely works, and I used it on my armpits and bikini line so far. I didn't warm it in the microwave first. I just put the wax on my body and lay the strip over it, then lay my hand on it for about 10 seconds to warm the wax with my body heat. Then rubbed my hand over the cotton strip to get the hair stuck on there. A quick pull and the hair comes right out. The bikini line was the hardest because it hurts, and I have to psych myself up to pull the strip really fast. Do not hesitate! It's like pulling off a bandaid :) Just get it done. I've made sugar wax myself by boiling a 2:1 ratio of sugar with liquid. I usually do 1 cup of sugar with 1/4 cup of lemon juice and 1/4 cup of water. The trick is in the timing, because if it is boiled a little too long it turns into hard candy. There are YouTube videos walking you through the process. It is possible, I've done it successfully, but I've also messed up and it's a waste of time. So I decided to buy Nads instead. I think for the price it's a good deal. There are other sugar wax products on Amazon that are way overpriced. This will last a while, and you can reuse the cotton strips. I recommend this sugar waxing kit!

I wouldn’t recommend for facial hair
It’s an alright product. It works on my leg hair and I like the ingredients, but I bought this for facial hair and it’s not great. It doesn’t remove any facial hair or you have to keep going over it (and it still leaves hair). I broke out in a rash my first time using because I had to go over areas 3-4 times to see some results. Maybe I’m not doing something right, but this doesn’t work for facial hair. On leg hair it’s fine, but it takes forever in my opinion (It took an hour for one shin) and is kind of messy, so I’ll just stick to shaving my legs. This stuff only seems to work on hair a cm, inch, or longer. I’ve never waxed before, so some of it may be my inexperience, but I bought this specify for facial hair and it doesn’t satisfy. I have eczema and this seemed like the perfect product for my sensitive skin, but I guess I’ll try something else. For the cloth strips, I have a sewing machine and did a zig zag stitch around the edges to stop fraying ( anti fray glue didn’t work). Now I can wash and reuse the cloth stripes, eliminating waste and saving money.

This product WORKS! Less painful, very effective.
I don’t tend to write reviews very often, but I came here to purchase more of this since I was running out, and realized that a lot of people seemed to have had a bad experience with this product, when I had the opposite! I figured maybe I’d give my two cents to the conversation, so to speak. As someone who is dealing with having a lot of hair in unwanted areas, as most of us women are, I absolutely hated waxing. I tried to wax my armpits once and it was so incredibly painful and unbearable that I swore to never even try it again. LITERALLY traumatized lol I bought this wax because I had heard sugar wax was more gentle as well as effective, and overall better for your skin. I used it mostly on my face on the chin and neck area and was satisfied, and dint have any complaints. One day, I decided to try and use it on my abdominal area and… to my surprise, all of the hair (which was a lot—haven’t been to the beach in a while lol) came out on one pull + it did not hurt AT ALL. WHATSOEVER! I didn’t even feel it. So… despite my prior experience with waxing my armpits, I decided to try it out. And to my surprise… all of the hair in my armpits also came out in one go, and it was so so so much less painful. It was… ACTUALLY okay. My armpits are smooth without any irritation, and I’m happy with the results. I feel like the people having trouble with this product might not be using it properly, or might not be prepping properly. Exfoliating before waxing is always key, and I’ve found that adding baby powder to the area really helps, as well as ensuring your hairs are long enough for the wax to hold, and also applying ENOUGH; too thin a coat won’t do it, and too thick a coat will be too dense and soft to grip the hair. I hope other people can experience this product and have a good experience like I did!

My New Favorite Wax Kit
This is a really good wax kit. Honestly, the best one I've tried so far. I used it on my legs and bikini area, and there was no irritation at all. Everything came off easily, and the instructions were clear and simple to follow. What I really liked is that the kit comes with everything you need. No extra tools to buy. The price is fair for what you get, and I was very happy with the results. This one is definitely my favorite now.

Great way to remove hair at home.
Comes with reusable cloth strips, lots of applicators, and a soap to prepare your skin as well as the sugaring compound. Best to use the product without heating it up - just be patient and let your skin heat it up to make it easier to spread. Also don't double dip with the application sticks or it contaminates the sugar and the product deteriorates.

GOOD FOR NOTHING!!! Not working at all...
Over priced, still we bought it thinking that it will work When we used it, 90% of time its not sticking... even if its get stick, hair is not getting removed.. Totally a waste of money... So, please dont try your luck on this product.

Perfect for me, my skin, my wallet and the planet!
Super product! I love the idea of waxing but I could never wax successfully and stress free (I first started with Veet strips, that left bruises on my skin and was a nightmare to clean up afterwards. I then found and tried sugar wax recipes online: they worked really well, but they take so much time for an uncertain result). I was looking for something that was healthy, easy to use and cheap, and found it all in this kit! The added touches of sustainability with the cotton strips and just the natural recipe made this even more perfect. As I explained, I’m really not a pro in waxing and had maybe done it like 4 times in my life before trying this, and I managed to use it with no problem. Works perfectly on the legs (as seen in my beautiful picture). A bit less perfect on the armpits, and I bled a little but that’s because my hair had become so thick from all the shaving so I’m not too worried about that, pretty sure the next few times will be fine. I am yet to try on my bikini area but I’m looking forward to it (whereas I dreaded this part with other waxes). One pot of wax can probably last for only one waxing of each of these accumulated body parts (so both legs, armpits as well as bikini in total once). The only negative point that I have found is that since the strips and applicators are reusable, I don’t really need to buy the full kit again, but I can’t seem to see an option of just buying the sugar wax for my next “session”. It would be a shame if I always had to buy the full kit, as the whole point of it is that its components are reusable. The other small issue was just that my room temperature was never enough so I had to go heat up the wax a few times during use, but I assume that it’s because of the general UK weather (I believe this is an Australian product so it’s normal that their room temperature is hotter).

Does a great job and easy to use
I used it on my lip, chin, and brow. If you've ever had waxing done in the salon, you are familiar with the process, just repeat it with this product. The instructions are very clear. The wax is very sticky, much like honey but once you get comfortable with it, it's fairly easy to apply and removes most of the unwanted hair. The brow is a bit tricky and will take some practice and the overall result is not as thorough as the hot wax from the salon, but certainly worth the investment for in-between cleaning. My skin reaction was not as severe as after the salon either.

Easy to use for beginners
As a self waxing beginner, I honestly didn't know what to expect. re: my legs - I always go to a lady that gives me the basic full leg and bikini wax. I'd say my pain threshold is slightly above average, so much so, I was able to do this by myself. I've used wax strips before now, but usually, they've been to only do my ankle area so my leg hair doesn't peep through the gap between my socks and pants! The product itself comes as described - a tub of wax, the sticks to apply, the cotton strips to remove, and a bar of 'pre-waxing' soap. I followed the instructions by cleansing my legs first. The wax itself wasn't warm enough to scoop up on the stick - so I popped it in the microwave for 15 secs. I found as I went along, that the consistency needed to be runnier than I initially thought and I needed to keep popping to the microwave to keep it runny enough to apply the right amount. Having watched several youtube videos of self waxing, I'd seen how to dip the stick, scoop it up and apply - and it worked as it should. Bearing in mind that I had full lockdown leg hair length- the wax removed it all from the root. I'd say the pain itself is the exact same as you'd get from a salon using normal wax and in my opinion. I've also seen reviews of this product where a lady uses her fingers to apply as a sugar wax would normally be applied - so perhaps this product is more versatile than you'd expect?!?!? I am just a beginner and my technique reflects that! My legs were left red and blotchy - which is normal for me. Any residue came off in the shower straight after, and my legs this morning were lovely and soft. This is where the product stands out for me. There was little to no residue in the first place, and my legs recovered quicker than from 'normal' wax at a salon. Finally, the pot itself only did half my legs - so from the knee down. I would need a bigger pot for a full leg! Overall - id recommend this product, but would stress to read and follow the instructions - no short cuts! esp when using the microwave to heat and then put on your skin!
