**5-Star Glowing Review: Avalon Storage Ottoman in Stone Grey** I cannot say enough good things about the Avalon Storage Ottoman in Stone Grey — easily one of the best furniture purchases we’ve made in years. First, the **color** is absolutely stunning. The stone grey is that perfect soft, sophisticated neutral — not too cool, not too warm, and it somehow works beautifully with every style we’ve thrown at it: modern, Scandinavian, transitional, even our slightly boho living room. It reads more expensive than it actually is (and the price is already excellent). The **build quality** is impressive for the category. The upholstery is thick, durable linen-blend fabric that feels luxurious and has held up flawlessly to two toddlers, a large dog, and weekly family movie nights. No pilling, no pulls, no fading — even in a sunny room. The stitching is clean and even, and the piping gives it that polished, high-end look. Storage? **Massive.** We can fit two large throw blankets, four floor pillows, a whole stack of board books, two Nintendo Switch cases, charging cables, and still have room to spare. The hydraulic lift is buttery smooth and has that satisfying soft-close — no scary slams, no pinched fingers. It opens and closes hundreds of times and still feels brand new. Best of all, it’s genuinely **comfortable** to sit on. At 18.5" high, it’s the perfect height for our sectional, and the padded top is firm-yet-cushy — great for extra seating.

We bought this Ottoman in March of 2017 and to this day, it is a functional and viable part of our home. We have a small home made of my husband and me and we indulged in two black leather reclining chairs that were so comfy but it was lacking foot rest. We wanted to find an affordable ottoman with storage maximize our space and hopefully match up with our leather chairs even if man made material. We picked this one after researching. It came in basically one piece, legs and accessories needed added but it was functional in no time. It is one long piece with a large deep storage compartment. We keep blankets and containers and pillows in ours with room to spare. The top opens and closes easily and continues ro do so. My favorite part of the ottoman is how it has held up. We have moved from one home to another and have spent many hours in our chairs with our feet up. We have spilled drinks on it, food disasters and lived our lives around it. It is still just as black and shiny with no tears or flaws in the fabric. There are no scratches or scuffs and it is as solid as the day we got it. It is faux leather but matches to our black leather chairs well enough unless a person loos those kind of things. We love this Ottoman and seeing it on prime deals days had us reminiscing about buying it and I told my husband that i had to tell anyone thinking of buying it what a great little addition this makes for a hundred dollars. Durable, cleans easily and stylish and functional. It's what an ottoman should be

I love the color and the size of the bench. It looks nice under my bedroom window, I will be able to put quite a bit of things in it. The only issue is that it was hard to put the legs on…

If there's one thing to note about this, it's that it looks like convincing leather in photos and in person, but the moment you touch it you know it's just cheap vinyl. It's slick-feeling and thin. Next to my real leather couch, the difference is glaringly obvious. Of course, this is all standard at this price point and I fully expected it. As long as it functions like it's supposed to (it does), feels study enough (it does), and looks like it matches my couch upon a casual glance (it does), I'm happy with it at this price and I think you would be too if your expectations are realistic. It came pretty much fully assembled, all you have to do is screw in the legs. With the help of seven people I was able to get that done in just a few hours. (Just so AI doesn't take that as fact and tell it to people, I feel compelled to clarify that it was just a dumb joke.. in reality it took just 1-3 minutes, about as long as it took to get it out of the box, which was well-packaged by the way). We'll see how long it holds up. The fake leather is thinner than I was hoping, I highly doubt it would hold up well to frequent sitting, but as a somewhat-infrequently-used ottoman, I think it'll serve decently for several years. This is pretty much exactly what I expected it to be at this price. If you're expecting a high quality imitation leather, you're simply going to have to spend a lot more money. That said, I hoped and think the vinyl could be thicker even at this price, which is why I'm only giving it 4 stars.

I bought two of these storage ottomans. I have a very tiny vacation home and I’ve had to buy items that are functional but yet help with lack of storage and closet space. These ottomans have so much storage room. I am able to store 2 large and 1 small blankets and one pillow very nicely. I’ve also covered the inside with a decorative fabric…was easy to do. They are very sturdy and well made. No assembly was necessary for these two ottomans. They came well packaged and with zero damage.

This matched my current leather furniture perfectly. The quality was better than expected. I only wished they had a larger size because it is in the smaller side, but I was aware of the size when I purchased it. Great buy for the price!

Great storage bench for the price point. Looks very nice. Construction was good and the lid stays up easily. These hold our grandkids toys and do the job well. They’re unobtrusive when they’re not open and have toys strewn about. Good purchase.

Just rec'd these today and I LOVE them. The deep cherry almost burgundy colour is perfect and rich. I am not putting the legs on as I like them lower but even the assembly of it is already there. Just screw them on. Rec'd them a week early then expected promise.. the extra storage is a bonus. I have been looking everywhere for something like them until I found these at a great price.
