First thing I want to say is that I never take the time to write reviews like this, but I was so impressed with this that I felt obliged to share it with the world. So, I have always wanted to try a system like this, but never could bring myself to cough up the cash. The last few months, however, I’ve been struggling with sudden adult-onset cystic acne. Like, really really nasty, angry, red and painful breakouts all over my chin, mouth area and neck. I was beginning to begrudgingly call it my ‘zit beard’. I was trying every thing I could think of short of seeing a dermatologist or esthetician to no avail, then finally gave in and ordered this bad boy. First thing I noticed when I received it (much sooner then was estimated, mind you)was the packaging. It was really nice. Sounds like perhaps a strange thing to mention, but I’ve noticed in the past that the better quality the packaging, the better quality the product tends to be. Take Apple, for example. So was off to a good start. They also enclosed a coupon for me to use for my next brush replacements, which I thought was nice. It comes with everything you need except the facial cleanser/soap itself. I was able to pull it all out of the box and set it up in about 5 minutes without even consulting the instructions. It’s very intuitively designed. I also love how it looks on my sink. Very futuristic. I look like a rich now when guests use my upstairs bathroom. Win #1. So I immediately want to try it out even though I had washed my face already a little bit before that and wasn’t wearing any makeup and hadn’t done anything to make my face ‘dirty’....but I just had to see how it felt, and I was so excited to be basically be starring in my own episode of the Jetsons. So I give the ol’ mug a scrub with the regular, daily use brush attachment. I just splashed my face with a bit of warm water and put a little dollop of cleanser in the pool in the center of the brush(notably less than I usually need to get my whole face clean, by the way), and go to town. It is self-timed, so I just worked my way around my face with it until it stopped. It changed direction a few times too during the 1 minute washing, so I felt like it was really getting in there. The lather was nice, but definitely be wary of using too much moisture (you want you face or brush to be only slightly moist), I noticed when I used it initially on my soaking wet face and with a wet brush that soapy foam started spraying out in all different directions. So I never used that much water again and didn’t have an issue with soap suds flying out. So, the thing stops, my first wash has ended...then the craziest thing happened....I look down at the brush I had just used to wash my ‘clean’ face...and it was covered in makeup that my face wash left behind earlier that evening! It was a rude awakening as to how much dirt and residue must have been staying on my skin all the time. No wonder I started breaking out so badly. So that’s win #2! It’s been a couple of weeks now of me using it everyday, sometimes twice a day, and I am beyond thrilled to announce that my acne is almost totally dried out! My skin feels so smooth and soft, and I have noticeably less blackheads around my nose and forehead area too! My face feels SO CLEAN now, like I had never washed my face before this product came into my life. I LOVE IT and won’t go back to being a filthy dirty girl again. At least not in my pores. Win #3. UPDATE: Received email from customer service today. Had to provide proof of purchase and a photo of the bottom of the machine and with in a few hours had another email with the replacement coming. Purchased this on January 18, 2022 and have been using it twice daily since I received it. Used it yesterday morning and last night it would not come on. Yes, It was charging. Called and emailed the company with a message let's see how good their warranty and customer service is. It has a 2 year warranty. I will call at 9 when they open and see if I can reach a person. Other than that I love the machine and want it to work use it twice a day. I will update once I talk to customer service.

Broke. Just quit working. It was new. I’m very disappointed. I liked it so much I ordered all the different brushes to go with it and then it died. I only had it a few months and didn’t have time to report it broken right away because I had a bad accident. We’ll see if they replace it. It was purchased the end of December and it’s now mid March. It broke the middle of February. I really liked it and loved the idea of it and the lites sanitizing it after use.

I've used this for less than a month, and I really like it. There are two speeds, and I prefer the lower one. It is really messy so I use it in the shower. It seems to clean deeply, and my face feels clean of dirt, and oil, but does not leave my face dry, in fact, my complexion is more illuminated and looks healthier. I do leave the brush on a dry washcloth for a few minutes after cleaning and then put it on the sanitizer. I have not noticed any foul odors. Compared to other facial brushes I thought the price was fair, and I also like that there are other types of brushes like the body brush, exfoliating brush, and silicone brushes make the Tao Clean Ona a very versatile product. The only negative I find is the replacement brushes are too expensive.

The first point of note is that this is a rotating brush and not a sonic brush. It’s down to personal preference if that’s good or bad. I prefer sonic, but I like this one well enough and don’t regret the money spent. It fits nicely in my hand. I am in my late 40s and have had dry, sensitive skin my whole life, and I’m still mildly acne prone. The dryness means I need a minimal amount of daily physical exfoliation and, for me, this allows me to use a moisturizing cleanser without triggering an acne flare up. The sensitivity means chemical exfoliation is not an option. The standard brush attachment is just barely soft enough for my sensitive skin as long as I’m extra careful around my nose and lips. Which brings me to my second minor complaint. I would rather use the sensitive brush head (I have not yet bought one, but experience tells me, it would likely be a nice brush for my skin) the thing is, you can get 2 standard brushes for $20, while the sensitive brushes are $15 each. I will probably buy a sensitive brush before too long, but for now, I’m going to continue gently using the standard. I like the idea of the UV drying/disinfecting function of the charging base, but I am skeptical of the effectiveness for disinfecting. Overall the device is a subtly pretty display in my bathroom. And I was able to choose a color to coordinate with my decor. Finally, I have not used it long enough between charges to figure out how long a charge lasts, but I have gone a week or two between charges with no issues. I also rather like the nightlight function of the base. The only other thing I could wish for is to make it more portable for travel. I gave 4 stars because of the lack of sonic function and the high price of the sensitive brush heads.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this product. I follow a few influencers on IG and YouTube and I came across This product. As my skin in maturing, my skins cellular exfoliation isn’t as good as it used to be meaning my face super dry. I used this to try and remove the dry skin and to deep clean my pores. It does all of this and more. My skin feels so much better and is truly so much cleaner. Plus it sterilizes itself! Super amazing. I started right away using this day and night but I may have needed to start a bit slower as my skin is a bit sensitive. It was deep cleaning my skin so well it made it feel almost too clean but I realized I needed to moisturizer more not that this was removing my dry dead skin more. It’s a win win. Plus you can use it in the shower too. If you use over the sink, get the brush head a bit damp not soaken wet as it will shoot water everywhere. I love this product! So much so I bought on for my teenage son.

For a product that costs this much it should be durable and last longer than 10 months, I’ve been having issues with the fan not working, it doesn’t dry it even after one day. The brush still cleans my face and that part works good, but that’s only half the product I paid for, this makes me feel like I should’ve bought it from the tao website since it seems they have better warranty options, I’m starting to think buying electronics from Amazon are not the best idea, this isn’t the first time I’ve had issues with these kinds of things. Is there any way I can get a replacement or my money back ?

This is my second time purchasing this skin cleansing machine. I love it so much! I bought the original version years and years ago, and even though it still worked, the built-in timer would shut the brush off after one cycle. Best time to buy it is when it’s on sale. ☺️ It’s easy to use and has an automatic sanitizing function of the brush head. The great thing is that they didn’t change the brush head connections so I can use the various brush head replacements I had already bought. Now that’s something! The first version lasted for years, and I loved it, so I had no problem purchasing it again.

This product give a deep clean to your pores. I love the fact that the brush self sanitizes.....that is definitely a bonus. I've had mine for a few months now so I've really had the time to use it and can give an honest review that this is a great product. Better than some of the other facial brushes out there.

I loved using this, it made my skin feel so clean... however, it only lasted 3 days until the base suddenly stopped working. I'm not sure if I got a faulty unit, but it is definitely not worth the price if it stops working after 3 days.

The brush cleans pretty well, however I had to stop using it as it left a yellow stain on my bathroom counter! Nothing gets it off. So, It now is in the cupboard with my other "fail" beauty gadgets... this was a rather expensive "fail"

Easy to use and leaves your skin feeling so clean. Has really helped with my acne.

Idk why it stopped working all of the sudden?? I truly loved it, but now it’s broken and no one to contact to fix it??
