I wanted a bag to carry back and forth to work to replace the shopping tote I’d been using. What started as a one-time solution somehow turned into a staple of my commute — holding a water bottle, lunch, and all the random work necessities that accumulate over time. My old tote was starting to look a little grungy, and I wanted something more put together without breaking the bank. I’ve more or less written off designer bags at this point. As someone who used to collect them, I think I’m just over the logos and the price tags. This bag fit exactly what I was looking for: plain, structured, and expensive-looking without needing a visible brand to prove its quality. The leather is genuine leather, which sits below full-grain in the hierarchy, but it still feels substantial and well-finished for the price point. The hardware has a nice weight to it, and the structure holds up well even when packed for a full day. Most importantly, it turned my “I guess I’ll just grab a tote” habit into something intentional. Instead of looking like I’m carrying a reusable grocery bag to work, I feel like I’m carrying a classic, old-money-inspired accessory. Clean, simple, and functional — exactly what I needed.

Very nice looking bag. I got the dark brown one and it is truly beautiful. I was primarily looking for a tote bag with a stationary long middle zipper compartment that was at least 7" deep. This one is just over 7-1/2" deep, which is perfect. I also wanted that compartment to stand up rather than flop down, so I just cut one side of a manilla folder to size and slipped it in and now have two more separated compartments! I couldn't tell the depth of that middle zippered compartment from the description, however, so had to gamble on it when I ordered. I also tried a very similar bag first that was less expensive, but its middle zippered compartment was only 5" deep, so I returned it and tried this one. Neither bag gave the dimensions of that inner middle pocket in the description, and Rufus didn't know either. Would have been helpful to know in both cases and would have saved ordering one I had to return. This bag has a beautiful interior with a heavier lining that is silkier feeling than the lighter weight cotton lining of the other bag. The interior side pockets of this one are sturdy and top-edged with a thin leather strip that helps hold their shape. The bag was well packed with some kind of cloth protective sleeve and then wrapped in a plastic sleeve. It's slightly heavier and taller than I was expecting, but the quality - especially of the interior - makes up for that. The only thing I wish these dark bags would consider is using a lighter color lining to be able to see what's inside without digging through the contents.

This is a beautiful bag, but unfortunately I am not sure that it is real leather. The feet are plastic, which would leave them prone to chipping/cracking. I am very sad that it is not leather. I hate making returns, but I am glad that I didn't completely unwrap the protective covering. Like I said, it is a beautiful bag and seems like it will be stiff and sturdy. The color is vibrant and the size is pretty good for carrying small electronics like small laptops and/or tablets. The drop of the straps is comfortable and the weight isn't too heavy, but definitely feels and looks like a substantial bag. I chose a brighter color over black, because I wanted something that would stand out when traveling or in the office. I still am deciding whether to keep it or not, but I am leaning towards keeping it. I think that unless you're really hard on bags, it should be OK. I tend to overstuff bags, so that is a thing. I also tend to place my "leather" bags inside of a canvas tote to conceal and protect the leather and to also make it less obvious to purse snatchers. The inside pockets and extra strap are all nice touches. I like this bag, it is super glam/understated. I usually buy D&B but I wanted to try something different since it was a great price and much less than it is showing as of this writing. Still thinking. The plastic feet are the most off putting but again, I am used to D&B and need to stop comparing. FWIW, I have a bunch of D&B purses and have even bought a ton for my friends and family, so I am very biased and need to get out of that way of thinking. In any case, I might keep it, but it seems like a great bag.

There are times that I have to carry A LOT of stuff with me, and because I walk with a cane I need one bag that can carry it all. And of course I want that bag to look nice. And not cost too much. And be well made. This is that bag. I am so pleased with it! It's very good looking, has plenty of room with just the right number of pockets and compartments, and the adjustable handles plus crossbody strap make it so versatile it's like 3 bags in one: hand-held, shoulder bag or crossbody. I'm very sensitive to smell and was afraid an inexpensive leather bag might have an unpleasant odor. It doesn't. All the zippers move smoothly and the stitching is nice. I just got it so can't speak to durability, but I see no reason for any problems. I'm very happy with this purchase.

This bag is great! I wasn't sure about the size for me because I am not tall but it is perfect! It has plenty of room without losing things in the bottom of it. Glad I bought this bag! You can't lose with this purchase!

UPDATE: I accidentally discovered 2 extra pockets. I dropped my phone into the purse and while looking for it, I noticed a pocket on either side between the outside zipper and the main part of the purse. There is one on the other side between the phone holder and the main part of the purse. They are well hidden so both good places to hide things. EVERYONE loved this purse that saw it over the holidays! .......After I read some reviews on other purses, I was hesitant to purchase a leather one. My daughter talked me into it, so I decided to buy it for my 75th birthday (11/26). When it arrived, I fell in love with this beautiful dark blue purse. It was packaged very nicely, and upon opening, there was no unpleasant smell, unlike what other reviewers wrote about their purchase of a leather purse. It is larger than my previous one, so I can add more stuff! It has a large zipper pocket in the middle and places on either side for other things. There is also a pocket on the outside for my keys. Most would probably put their cell phone in that pocket, but I don’t use mine that much. I can’t wait to transfer my items into my beautiful purse and show it off when I go to my appointment at the VA in OKC. I absolutely LOVE this glamorous purse, which makes me feel like I have struck it rich!

I really like this tote. It's elegant and minimalisitc. The shoulder straps are long enough to actually be carried on your shoulder without it either being too tight or awkwardly long. They are also securely sewn on all the way to the bottom of the bag and secured with a metal button/bolt/pin thing (see the picture) towards the top, so these straps won't snap on you any time soon. There is a longer carrying strap that you can attach/detach if you want to carry it long or cross-body. The only downside about the straps is that they are a bit on the thinner side, so if you are carrying a heavy load, the straps will dig in to your shoulder. Inside, I like that it has a middle divider which is actually an extra zippered compartment that you can store stuff in. It is also sewed to the bottom, so the two divided compartments are actually separate (some bags have the middle divider, but it's only sewn on the sides, so smaller items in the two divided compartments just slide under the divider, which is pointless). There are two smaller pockets on the outer wall of one of the compartments (good size for your phone, a packet of tissues, etc.), and then on the other compartment, there's a zipper pocket. There is also a gap between the lining of the bag and the outside leather. You could keep an item in there for quick-access, especially when your bag is zipped up, but don't put in small things, like lipstick or a pen, because that gap basically goes all around the bag, so those items will be harder to reach/find. Your phone might be ok--the pocket is deep enough and actually obscure enough that it's not super noticeable. On the outside of the bag, you have a non-secure (open) pocket on one side (I keep a packet of tissues in there), and a zippered pocket on the other (I keep my keys in there). The bag basically look exactly like the pictures they've provided; even the color is pretty accurate. It's a great bag for work, or even casual carrying needs. The leather seems quite durable and it's on the stiffer side so it will keep shape pretty well.

Die Tasche ist voll in meinen Tag integriert. Sie ist so schön groß. Nun brauche ich nicht länger alles suchen. Da sie genügend Platz bietet. Leider Wat die angegebene Geldbörse nicht mit dabei.

A lovely large bag looks much more expensive than it is . Lots of space to carry laptop I pad etc .
